Not a fan of the potato cake they give you when the menu says “home fries.” Additionally, they did not do extra dark toast for the two at our table who ordered it that way.
Menu should list prices of the coffee and juice.

The vegetables in my avocado tomato Egg Benedict were cold, very cold as if they were just taken out of the fridge.

They no longer have their liquor license and cannot serve any alcoholic beverages. Otherwise food and coffee great as always
One of our favorite breakfast spots in the area. The Broadway bowl has been my go-to order for years, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu; coffee is self serve, and you can get a cup to bring outside if you're waiting in line during peak business hours.

If you are around Somerville this is the place to be! It’s the best brunch in the area if not the state! Customer service is 10/10, the meals come out in less than 10min. You get unlimited coffee in a cup you get to refill with numerous flavors. The Nova Scotia salmon benedict is a FAVORITE and a must-try! Be mindful of how busy this place gets especially during the weekend! Also, parking can be a bit of a challenge but there are options. The atmosphere is fun and lively. It gets loud because of how busy it gets so if it's nice out I would recommend that you sit outside to eliminate some of that noise.

Kid-friendliness: Went in with some babies. We were given a big table so we could spread out a little bit. Staff was polite but very inattentive.

Got the $17 breakfast bowl and I was really disappointed. Absolutely no flavor at all, and there was about 1” of oily liquid at the bottom of the bowl which totally ruined the homefries that were mixed in. The veggies were soggy and gross. Iced coffee tasted old and burnt. I’ve heard great things about this place but I probably won’t be coming back after this!

This is so depressing, this place was everything and I don’t typically write these but not worth the visit if you use to love this place. Owner changed, food isn’t good anymore, potatoes changed. No lq license so they can’t serve mimosas and the food quality changed a ton. So sad to see. Old owner was a gem and ran a great business

I love local cafes when I’m out of town. The people are generally nice and helpful. The food is normally great. Here not so much. Took a few minutes to get seated when there was no wait and tables open. Then took more than five minutes to be greeted, we gave our order right then in fear of not seeing the server for another five minutes. This place was not busy. Server came by twice once to take the order once to drop the check. Everything else was done by someone else. If you want water or coffee you must get it yourself. The food was meh. Large portions though. The Monte cristo is not what I’m used to at all. Also easily could have been shared. Overall probably won’t be back because there are many other cafes to try on Boston.

Waffles with fresh fruit FTW
I took visiting family here for lunch and was incredibly disappointed. $9 for a bacon and egg sandwich, no sides. $4 additional charge to get fries instead of chips with sandwiches. Additionally, the food was incredibly bland and didn’t justify the high costs. I won’t be back.

June 2024:
Enjoyed the space and the aesthetic although expected more of the food. My eggs were watery and didn’t like that. Potatoes were good though. I appreciated that my toast didn’t have butter and I was able to control the portion.
