Run, don't walk, to Southern Pines Diner Car! This place is owned and operated by people who absolutely adore food and the company of others. Huge shoutout to Mackenzie for crafting these unbelievably delicious sandwiches. If you're craving something indulgent, comforting, and downright soothing, this is the place to be!
Had the mushroom melt and it was just perfect! Highly recommend this sandwich place. The homemade coleslaw in the sandwich was one of the best I’ve had and the combination of the flavors and the toasted bread was great! Does take about 15 mins but the owner will tell you the exact time to come back!
Was lucky enough to stumble in there when they had a smash burger special. Really good, one of the best smash burgers i've had! Can't wait to go back and try their sandwiches!
