Very mid experience. Service was inattentive, nice when she was there but only checked on us twice. Put in our order wrong and were served Veg version of our meal not the meat version. And - this may seem like a small thing - when I asked if they had Diet Coke, she said yes but it was Diet Pepsi (I know, you’re probably eye rolling, but I’m native to the South so it’s important to me and I’d rather have water). She never refilled our drinks even after I asked for water. I also noticed that the couple next to us waited for their check after asking for it for 30 minutes. Plus when our check arrived, it wasn’t itemized so we couldn’t confirm if she charged us for the Meat or meatless meal.
Onto the food. The fries were cold and the fish was overfried, but fine. And the pie was just fine. Nothing to complain about but nothing to write home about either. Worth the prices they list, minus the freshness.
The vibes were super cool though, so if you’re going, I’d say just go for a drink and snacks, not a meal. And sit at the bar for better service.

Had the corn beef hash, spuds were very nice and tasty, corn beef was cut in inch+ cubes, chewiest and most fatty piece of meat i have ever had to pay for , I wouldn’t recommend this item, coffee was good but served in small doses. Sausages and eggs were nice , pudding was burned , only half of 1 burned rasher. Bread was se through and only 1 small slice. Staff were nice

Hosted my Mom’s retirement party at The Burren yesterday and the staff and service were wonderful! They are easy going, communicative and very helpful in making the event go smoothly! The back room was a perfect spot for the event and a big shoutout to Sean who helped us with the party planning and worked the bar for us. He was awesome! Would highly recommend having an event there! ☘️

Popped in for an amazing Lunasa Concert out back and had a blast! AMAZING service, great spot, comfortable, tasty pub food and reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back!
Very lively/merry atmosphere. It seems like this place is designed foremost for drinking and chatting with a group of friends, while the food itself is lower-priority (though that’s not to say it was bad). Lots of people on a Friday evening, with many appearing to be regulars. This would be the perfect place to meet up with old friends.

Went to hear music in the back room, bartenders were excellent! Great pints! Went to the front room for dinner, it was awful. 3 of us for dinner. I was in the ladies room while my friends looked at the menu, came back, the waitress came over and took my friends order, I explained I needed a minute, she left , came back 10 minutes later for my order. Then shows up with my companions food! Sorry, this was wrong! I only ordered a side of onion rings ( 4 rings and dripping of grease) and a grilled cheese sandwich. My friends ordered fish & chips, over fried, and chicken fingers. Both looked like they were poured out of bag! Sorry go for the pints and the music, not the food!
