Love this location. As always food was delicious! I had my go to meal, the burnt ends, yummy. My husband tried the ribs and love them. We longer live close to this location but it’s definitely worth the drive.

St. Louis ribs were over cooked and like leather, the burnt ends were a tough as rocks. What a waste of money!

Our food came out in a decent time hot and delicious.

I ordered a brisket sandwich with 3 wings and burnt ends through uber eats.
Everything was dry and hard 😣.
I had a couple bite of the sandwich but it was too dry to swallow. Ended up throwing away the whole meal 😔. Was really really excited and looking forward to the sandwich. Lots of great review too. I guess today wasn’t my lucky day

I'm reviewing wedding catering and event coordination services we received from the Smoke Shop BBQ team; I'd absolutely recommend that anyone who enjoys Barbecue and is planning a wedding in MA to hire Smoke Shop as their catering team.

My wife and I used Smoke Shop BBQ as our caterer for our wedding, and if I could add extra stars beyond the maximum five google allows, I would.

We came across Smoke Shop's catering business as we both love the restaurant and have eaten at the Assembly location as well as the now closed Kendall Square restaurant. From the start, the team was incredibly responsive and professional. We worked with CJ, Smoke Shop's Catering & Events Senior Manager, who we ended up also hiring as our day-of coordinator.

Throughout the planning process, CJ was an invaluable resource and we were consistently impressed by SSBBQ's resources, organization, and value given the level of service provided.

On the day of our event, CJ and Shandel ran a tight ship and provided a level of service that made us and our guests all feel like VIPs; above and beyond is an understatement. The whole SSBBQ team was incredible - setup and breakdown were efficient, the food was delicious, and the service was top-tier.

Awesome spot! Our server (Luisa?) was fantastic - very kind and attentive. The menu is marked for all different allergens and they have a separate fryer for gluten-free (the pit-spiced fries are so good!). Great vibes, great drink selection, and really good food.

Had a reservation. No table when we arrived. No estimated wait time. Hostess was rude and said that’s just the way it is. She obviously sat walkins when she should not have. Plenty of other great dining options in the area.

Kept seeing the sign from the train and finally stopped for lunch. Tried the two meat (pulled pork/brisket) with slaw and mac. Was not expecting there to be sauce on any of it when served since they put a bucket with three sauces in it in front of me but the pulled pork was smothered in sauce. I like to try the meat on its own before adding any sauce, oh well. The brisket was sauce free though. Overall the food was okay and what you would expect for in the city BBQ, lacking the telltale smoke ring of a wood fired pit. Rated 2 out of 5 on food and base most of my comparisons on BT's Smokehouse out of Sturbridge.

This place is a gem! It’s one of the rare spots that serves beef ribs on Fridays and Saturdays, making it a must-visit for meat lovers. The brisket was absolutely outstanding—tender, flavorful, and perfectly smoked. I also couldn't get enough of the chicken wings; they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Overall, this spot is worth the stop!

Stopped here since I was staying at a hotel close by. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive. I had the Thanksgiving day sandwich with Coleslaw, and my husband had the pit crew combo with turkey and brisket and fries. The coleslaw had a spicy kick that I really liked. My husband had the smokehouse signature old fashioned and I had the sweater weather to drink. Great experience. Visited during Christmas and they had a gorgeous tree in front of the restaurant.

Ordered the Pitt Boss with Burnt Ends, Briskets and Ribs. The burnt ends were really delicious, the meat is really juicy and well marinated. The ribs and briskets are great too but would have been a bit better if they were juicier. Overall, the price is really cheap compared to the amount and the quality you get. Definitely recommend the place!!!
