The Smoke Shop BBQ - Assembly Row

Came here after the museum, and the food was amazing. I’ve eaten here before at different locations, and it doesn’t disappoint. They are pretty kid friendly and the bathrooms are clean. They were out of a few things (crying over no Mac and cheese that day) but we made it work because there’s a lot of yummy options. The sauces and cornbread are my favorites.

One annoyance was that we asked to split the check equally, but the two cards were charged two very different amounts with the total tip more than the 20% selected.

I would absolutely eat here again, however, but would likely use one card and Venmo after.

I absolutely LOVE the Smoke Shop!!! I’ve been ordering regularly for years now. I even bought their cookbook for $25 and the recipes are EXACTLY the same!
Can’t say enough about the food! I saw Shiitake burnt ends on the menu and had to give em a try and they did NOT disappoint! Hats off to the Chef, the front of the house, and Andy for bringing us multiple locations to order from!

Huge BBQ joint, ordered some BBQ fries with burnt ends and very tasty. Stayed for some beers afterwards. Good atmosphere in here. I'll come back again soon.

Not bad for BBQ in the Northeast, good selection and taste, however, the sides are somewhat lacking. I had brisket, burnt ends and pork belly and they tasted great. The fried mac and cheese balls appetiser is pretty good, but then the sides of fries (very lightly seasoned), pimento mac and cheese were ok, but the cornbread was quite decent.

If you are looking for BBQ in the Northeast you should check this place out as the food tastes good and the prices aren't bad, just understand it won't be true southern sides.
