The ice cream and the service are both fantastic. In addition, the prices are lower, relative to similar establishments. This is by far the best place to go for ice cream in Cambridge/Somerville/Boston.

We got the ice cream cake from tipping cow for my 5 year olds birthday party. He was beyond excited - even more than the presents themselves - to get to have a "safe ice cream cake." He has an allergy to tree nuts and peanuts. The cake itself was huge, delicious, and you know how at birthday parties parents tend to not eat the cake when it's offered.... that did not happen at our party, parent's were asking for another piece because it was so good.We are so grateful to have this amazing tasting, allergy friendly ice cream store in the community. Thank you from the bottom of my family's heart for helping us make a special memory that my son won't ever forget.

This is a great place to get ice cream, especially if you have any nut allergies. I love that they have special flavors throughout the year.
Oh my gosh, this was hands-down THE BEST ice cream my husband and I have ever had--just tried it for the first time tonight. The owner, David, was incredibly nice and talked to us about the seasonal flavors (which are constantly changing). He makes all the ice cream homemade with flavors you won't find anywhere else. We tried the triple chocolate, snickerdoodle, and chai. All SO GOOD and FRESH!! They are even open in the winter and have other treats like cookies, hot cocoa, and floats. Do yourself a favor and head on over, I promise you won't regret it. We will be back ASAP!

My boyfriend and I love coming here whenever we get the chance, because the ice cream is always so fresh and delicious and the owners are always so kind. We especially love going in the summer for their seasonal strawberry basil ice cream! Can't recommend them enough.

I have loved this place since it's opening. Who wouldn't want yummy ice cream, served by nice people, right around the corner? That said, I'm starting to feel disillusioned with the enormous inconsistency in hours. It's confusing and frustrating that the shop is frequently closed during it's "open" times.

We just moved around the corner and stumbled upon this place and had to check it out as our neighborhood ice cream shop. Safe to say we were not disappointed!! The ice cream is delicious — they have your regular every day flavors as well as ones that you don’t see often, like grapenut or sweet corn. The folks working are always so friendly, and they expertly handle lines going out the door on hot summer nights. We’ve been back so many times this season and are always looking forward to our next stop at Tipping Cow! ???
