Horrible delivery option. Should really switch to the normal apps. We ordered online and the DoorDash driver hasn’t picked up our food in 1 hour. And the place is about to close, we don’t even know if we will get our food. And we already paid!

The KINDEST staff and management, the most DELICIOUS food, and the most INCREDIBLE atmosphere. Hands down the BEST restaurant in Somerville.

Amazing service, atmosphere and food. They had so many reservations but we're able to fit our little 2 person reservation in on a side table. Highly recommend the flank steak fajitas. I really enjoyed the open air abilities of the restaurant too. They can open all the windows and it feels like everyone is at an outside restaurant.

Love the atmosphere of the restaurant. We went on a week night and it wasn't very busy so service was nice and quick. The food was great, we had the guac, poutine, and tacos and everything was delicious!

Toca Chida has such a fun vibe at Assembly Row! We went there to celebrate a family event. The cocktails are creative, decor is colorful and lively, and the service is friendly without being rushed. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for tasty Mexican food and a cool atmosphere.

We tried Chile Con Queso, Vegi Quesadilla, Cauliflower, Vegetable Fajita, Enchilada (pictures below) and all of them are great!

I met up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time and was really in the mood for tacos. We walked by Toca Chida Casa and decided to stop in—the decor immediately caught my eye! The atmosphere is stunning, and you can tell no expense was spared in the interior design. It feels inviting and vibrant.

That said, while the space was beautiful, the food didn’t quite match the experience for me. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants, and I was expecting the tacos to be just as great as the design. Our waitress was friendly and recommended the three tacos we tried, but unfortunately they were okay at best. For the price, I also thought it was a little disappointing that each order only came with two tacos.

Maybe it was just the specific tacos I ordered or perhaps the chef was having an off night, but I wouldn’t go back just for the food alone. Still, the decor, atmosphere, and service were definitely highlights.

Beautiful space, friendly staff, but the tacos didn’t wow me.

Had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Taco Chida in Somerville! I ordered the fried chicken and braised short rib tacos with a side of rice and refried beans—every bite was packed with flavor. The queso and chips were a must-have and didn’t disappoint, and I finished off the meal with their tres leches cake, which was the perfect sweet ending.

I have to give a huge shoutout to Amanda S, our server—she was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything came out just right. Also, major compliments to Monica, the manager on duty, who came by our table to share the history of the restaurant and offered some fantastic recommendations. Both Amanda and Monica were incredible—true assets to the restaurant.

The food is affordable, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend Taco Chida to anyone looking for a vibrant, satisfying meal with great service to match. I’ll definitely be back!

Honest review… I traveled with my family and stayed at the Row Assembly hotel for the weekend, in which we loved. We didn’t have much time to try different restaurants because we were short on time, so I was super excited to try this place out. The reviews seemed to be good, and it was super convenient. Let me start by saying the esthetics of the restaurant is so cute and trendy. The staff were very kind and the restaurant was clean… As far as the food, not so much.. The chicken empanadas had no flavor at all, and the rice that came with my steak was also not flavorful. My husband ordered shrimps, and he was also disappointed… The kids had quesadilla, so it’s pretty hard to mess that one up… Coming from a Hispanic heritage I expected more… I was actually very disappointed…
