Fantastic Ramen. Perhaps the best broth I've ever had in a ramen. The only thing that would make it better is if they used Pork Belly, but honestly, it's fantastic as it is. A definite must get for any Ramen lovers!

I’ve been going there since the beginning of 2023 and it’s a must. The noodles are fresh and always cooked to perfection. Also. I think they changed the format/recipe of the noodles slightly recently as you can see in the first picture compared to the others, but it is still really good! I liked the thicker noodles tho. About the chashu pork… it is the best i’ve ever had, very soft and flavorful. The broth is impeccable. I’ve tasted the Spicy paitan (2024), Classic (both in 2023 and 2024), Yuzu (2023-4?) and their curry and duck specials (2023). My favorite will always the curry one. The broth was soooo rich and thick. In matters of taste, you can never go wrong with this place.

Additionally, the venue is small and you often have to wait a bit over weekends or when they launch specials due to the limitation of the space. It is very cozy regardless and they offer water, chopsticks, forks, soup spoons, and some seasonings in a self-service spot in the back of the dining area. You can also eat by the counter, which i’ve done many times when I was alone and you can see the food being done there too. The staff is lovely and the service is fast. If you like your ramen with a drink, they have a matcha soda which I super recommend!

Vegetarian options: There is none. Last time I went, all broths were either based on chicken or pork

DELICIOUS! So very yummy. Great quality meat in the ramen. Broth is so flavorful and delicious. Only wish they had beer and the lights were dimmer but I can’t imagine how absurd liquor license costs are these days! Line forms outside to wait for a spot and then you get let in to order at the counter and sit down at the freshly cleaned off table.

Best ramen I’ve had in years. This replaced my 10 year loyalty with another ramen restaurant. It is pricey but worth it when you’re craving an authentic bowl of ramen. Only thing that’s off is You seat yourself and the cook gives you the food at the counter.. you get your own water and chopsticks… but you still have to tip. I thought the service tipping included a friendly smile and the food being brought to you..

Ramen is ok, the thin noodles is good. It’s not a very rich soup. The presentation of Ramen is good.

Ordered pork shoyu ramen ($18) with an onsen tamago (egg) ($2).

The broth was well balanced with umami and shoyu flavor, and curly noodles had nice texture and consistency—nice koshi!

The thinly sliced pork was soft and worked well with the broth.

Onsen tamago was cooked to perfection.

I will definitely come back!

Best authentic Japanese ramen in Boston. Have been going to the place since 2018 and is never disappointed. The broth is chicken based instead of pork based, and it’s as flavorful but not too overwhelming nor greasy like most pork broth. The onsen egg is a must try since this is one of few ramen places that offers a good and true onsen eggs that are cooked at moderate temperature and have a runny egg white and more firm, custard-like yolk. The ramen noodles are chewy and they are generous with the toppings and meat as well.

Usually go for their ramen which is great and my go-to, but today it was hot so I tried the cold tan tan noodles. Amazing! I love cilantro and sesame and it's my new favorite thing. Will be back asap to get it again.

Here are the rules:1) go order your food at the counter and get the placard with your order number2) choose your table and place your placard in a visible area3) grab your napkins and utensils from the station in the back ( and water if you didn’t get drinks )4) enjoy your ramen!5) no station to put your empty bowls. Leave at your table :)Now for the ramen:We tried both the paitan and the shoyu. If you like tonkotsu (or pork bonebroth), get the paitan. It doesn’t taste the same but it has that creamy meaty rich flavor that tonkotsu has. If you want something lighter, go for the shoyu. Just because it is lighter does not mean it lacks flavor! Like some other reviews, all broth here are “bursting with flavor”.Also, chasu is definitely different here. It is a ham-like thin slice but it absolutely melts in your mouth. Absolutely heavenly. Definitely getting double chasu next time. Oh, also, try the onsen egg! I’ve never had egg where the yolk was more cooked than the white. By no means it is undercooked. Its very silky with a half soft yolk. Highly recommend
