Union Square Donuts

I first met the owner since he was selling kombucha at farmers’ markets back before he started the donut business. I’ve always found their donuts somewhat variable although most are excellent. Having moved to the neighborhood of this shop I came in and tried their vegan Chai Apple Cider. It was delicious and tasted like fall. They had four vegan flavors when I came in.

So excited about the chai apple cider flavor! All three flavors were super delicious, but very very sweet! Overall, great vegan donuts. Friendly customer service, easy to find location.

Boston cream was great... Love their customer service...

I came to get a donut and for one donut is 5 dollars i still bought it it was okay but not the best i tried krispy creme donuts and they were better and cheaper also the donut store was kinda dirty also the staff seemed kinda rude

Tastes like dunkin. Also, yes dunkin does not taste good hence the one star.

Love your doughnuts. But my last visit on 7/13/25 I was incredibly disappointed in the overall cleanliness. Poor air quality. Didnt smell clean and the the restroom was horrific. Poop on the seat. And they were not busy, so the bathrooms should always be clean for customers. So based upon your rude reply I will gladly take my busy elsewhere. And you clearly ignored the rest of my comment Your staff members reflect your managing of this location. The place wasn't clean and the staff should be on top of that. You can't handle a negative review. Do better next time. And I'm glad I left this review because poop on a toilet seat is unacceptable. And your staff should be monitoring the cleanliness of the restrooms for it's customers.😉 It's just common sense,

Loved the cream filling, loved the bottom half of donut. Top half was bit bitter. Maybe it’s an acquired taste. Donuts are priced little on higher side. Would love to try different donut but cannot come frequently because of price.

The tiramisu donut I had was full of cream and very filling, and surprisingly not too sweet. I got a free drink coupon and the staff even asked if I wanted a large and additional syrup. Thanks!

So rude. We walked in with a dog and the moment we open the door the staff immediately screamed so rudely: “NO PETS ALLOWED You can look at the donuts from the outside”. Learn how to train your staff to ask customers nicely next time.

I used to work in a sub shop in the early 80 and I remember this place in union square. Fast forward my wife bought few donuts from this place few days ago. Let me tell this, I had the blueberry donut. It was one the best donuts I ever had. I can still tasted in my mouth and I can’t wait to go back and try more donuts. Thank you very much.
