Abdulla is the kindest person! I've never met someone behind his counter that wasn't happy to talk to you about pastries or olive oil.
The shop is very comfortable, and all of the food is amazing. Every combination of pistachio, orange, rose, cardamom, honey, kadayif, and chocolate is available. One of my favorite chai as well.

As soon as you walk in, the bakery smells to honey and pistachios. The gentleman behind the counter immediately offered me samples and they were all amazing. The walnut baklava was light airy and full of cardamom, the lime mint tea was tangy and refreshing. From now on, I will be doing as much pastry shopping here as I can!

Yafa is the most incredible gift to the community. Incomparable service, absolutely delicious food and the warmest hospitality. Abdullah, the owner, is a gem of a human and his high standards of hospitality spreads to the rest of the staff. It’s so wonderful there - you will never regret stopping in.
Absolutely incredible customer service. Truly above and beyond — see for yourself. A visit itself is a treat, and all of the food is a bonus! Can’t wait to work my way through the menu. Great savory options, about one million sweet options. The chai is the best I’ve had. Looks like they had lovely dine in service — I took everything to go but will be back to hang out.

Friendly staff and tasty, well-made treats! Everything feels unique and thoughtfully prepared. My favorites are the Valencia Pistachio and Palma,
so good!
It was packed in there today so there was a little bit of a wait but so worth it. I ordered the zatar bread and wasn't really sure if I wanted anything else until he gave me a couple samples of pastries and a sample of a mint drink. Ended up purchasing the mint drink and 3 mini walnut rolls. Everything was so good and refreshing.

i’m not crying you’re crying. or maybe we’re all crying. this is the most splendid bakery in boston. i was so excited looking for dessert and finding that the name of this bakery is the name of my mom’s hometown. this exceeded my imagination. immediately when we walked in we were warmly greeted and offer samples of baklava. the decor distracted me from the desserts and so did the merch. i bought a long sleeve green shirt for $27 and it’s so soft and high quality, and for a good cause. i am excited to restock olive oil from here because it is the highest quality (sorry north end). the savory flatbreads or “manakeesh mana’eesh” were pretty much out in the late afternoon so i’ll be back early in the day to try every single one. my friend and i got two mint teas one of which i requested herbal and there was loads of fresh mint leaves in there. we also got a handful of different desserts and split them all. i was so happy we got the last kunafeh cream that day because i love their fusion take on it. the way they plate things if you dine in is luxurious. and i love the intricate interior design with the simultaneous minimalism. so hard to pull off while keeping the palestinian cultural integrity and they perfected it. lovely 1000/10
