Came to My Diner at the suggestion of my brother. The restaurant was not far from the hotel I was staying at. Hostess was pleasant and got us seated quickly. Restaurant is actually on the 2nd floor so have to take steps or the elevator up to it. There is outside and inside dining options. The breakfast food was really good. The Belgian waffles and omlettes were a hit for my group! Restaurant has a small parking lot for customers and the rest is street parking! Good experience and will visit again when I come back to town!

Food was just terrible. It’s pretty bad when you can’t cook a poached egg properly for a Benedict. Also, paid for extra sauce and clearly is not there. Sauce wasn’t good anyway super oil taste. Potato’s were flavorless and the hash itself was bland. Overall just gross. Tossed it. $20 lesson learned.

I’ve been to My Diner in South Boston several times since I moved to Southie about a year ago. I've had such a great breakfast experience, and become somewhat addicted to their benedicts, especially their Hash benedict, homemade hash or a turkey version, and three eggs! Terrific hashbrowns included, all for a very reasonable price you won’t find in Boston these days. I recently tried their lunch, and found a full turkey dinner! Tender tasty turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, squash, corn and cranberry sauce, with fresh bread heated up with melted butter. All for $16, and I typically get two meals out of every portion! I’m working my way through the lunch menu and have enjoyed everything. This is the definition of quality comfort food, served by a friendly efficient staff in a clean and comfortable place. Highly recommended!

Nice western sandwich, I think I had a waiter in training. Could have had the bill done an ready since the diner was slow.
When we saw all the cops eating there, we knew it would be good. Service, excellent. Basic diner stuff done right. I asked for my pancakes to be made like the waffles (Nutella, walnuts, bananas and whipped cream) and they were happy to do that for me. If we lived here, we'd visit again.
Parking: Their lot has like 3 spaces. There's street parking.

If you’re from Southie you know we love My Diner. Everything you’d expect from an old school breakfast place. I’ve been going to this and the older location since they first opened.

Horrible service, no acknowledgement whatsoever when we walked in. Only took 10 minutes for a server to say something and it was when a white family walked in behind us. Hate playing the race card but clearly we’re not the first minority party to have this issue. We walked right out - Don’t give this place your business.

I really liked My Diner. Any restaurant that has a dedicated vegan section gets my vote. My Diner is a perfect example of a locals go to. Great coffee, another plus .
I did get the tofu scrambled. I should have ventured out and tried the chickpea omelette, next time I'm back in Boston.

Visiting Boston for the 1st time. I had the hash Benedict with potatoes. Country potatoes were perfectly cooked with char, as from an iron skillet. There were 3 muffin halves for the Benedicts so very generous portions and very tasty! Mostly locals you could tell, so you know it's good!

Omelette was burned. Onions too chunky. Home fries were raw and the service was nowhere to be seen. 15 minutes after being seated someone finally came by quickly though. Never saw our server again until we paid. Mind you, we had to go to the front counter to ask for a bill and pay since server never showed her face. Blah. Never will we eat here again. Repeated, yes I know.... server never showed her face after taking order!
