The barbecue is very good. We had the brisket, which was fork tender, and the ribs. which were also tasty. We also enjoyed the collard greens, potato salad, mac & cheese and purple Cole slaw. The combo platters also came with the softest, sweetest bread. It was all delicious. The staff was great and very accommodating. We arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed (Summer hours had not yet been updated on Yelp) but the hostess seated us and took our order right away. The restaurant is part of PKLBoston. The space is enormous with five reserved pickle ball courts, areas to play corn hole and shuffleboard as well as two separate bar areas. The place is big enough to have several areas for private functions. Just be mindful of where you park. We unwittingly parked on a "Private Way" and our car was towed.

I had an amazing time playing pickleball at PKL Boston! The event was organized by a Harvard student organization, and it was such a great experience. This was my first time playing pickleball, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly—they really made me feel welcome and gave me courage to get started. The facility was well-maintained and had a great vibe. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking to try something new and have fun! I'll definitely be back!

Earlier today I hosted a 15 person client event at PKL. Hands down, it was the best venue I’ve hosted at in Boston. The facility is fantastic. Great staff, stellar food, and incredible pickleball. If you’re considering hosting a group event, I highly recommend PKL. Everyone had a blast. And if you’re ordering dessert, I highly recommend the brownies and key lime pie.
Wheelchair accessibility: I was very impressed with the wheelchair accessibility throughout the facility.
