Excellent food and service at this local Southie establishment. The vibe is cheerful and Brett the bartender was very kind. I felt welcome as a newbie to Boston. The Summer Salmon was fantastic!! I don’t understand some these reviews on here but maybe they didn’t order correctly. Best welcome so far to Boston. :-)
I’m relatively new to the neighborhood, and I’ve only visited a couple of times so far. But I felt welcomed and taken care of each time. Not to mention their great food. My friend had guinness - he said it was the most perfectly poured pints he’s ever had haha. The dessert was yummy and well presented. The food was ok. The ABLT, Veggie quesadilla, and tater tots were ordered. The ABLT had a nice flavor and sauce to it however only came with 2 slices of bacon cut in half, so definitely needed more bacon. The veggie quesadilla was bland and disappointing. The tater tots were the best on the menu that we had. The dessert was nothing special, a brownie and cheesecake on a decorated plate. Service was good and the outdoor sitting area made up for the bland tasting food.
