Sullivan's Castle Island

This place is a Boston institution. There’s a reason locals flock here soon as the weather gets warm enough. Lobster rolls, chili cheese dogs, clam strips, and lime rickeys FTW. Pro tip: order ahead online. Unless of course you want the full Sully’s experience, then you can wait in line out the side door like everyone else… (it’s worth it though)

It was a busy Sunday at Castle Island and Sullivan's was hopping. I was skeptical about eating here but food was very good. I can recommend both the chowder and the lobster roll. Others in our group also enjoyed their fish a chips, portions were quite large. Only downside is there is only outside seating here and the gulls and pigeons are aggressive.

Simply the best ,been coming here since you opened in 1951. Old Boston feel still exists here in South. Here you find the most varied BostonIan mix than anywhere else, fantastic harbor viiew, best of boston.

The food is decent, but a bit overpriced. We were looking forward to a fish and chips shop, and it was okay. The service is very much like a convenience store- cold and to the point. The shop was full, and little space to wait. We visited on a sunny day, so lots of activities outside. It was okay.

Friendlier staff than my $90 lunch at Copley Plaza Hotel.

Loved Castle Island and lunch at Sullivan’s. It’s a public park, lots of parking, I’m not sure of the cost. All dining is take out. Plenty of picnic tables. Walking is easy, smooth sidewalks. Nice view of Logan and the seaport. And an adequate restroom.
