Super sad that I came here for lunch and no one was there to open the door. I sat outside waiting for them to open at 1pm and stood waiting and when I went to the door it looked like someone was there but the door was locked and no one opened to say anything to me. So I left sad and hungry.

Don’t waste your gas going there if they don’t answer the phone and expect to eat there. They only take reservations and did I mention they don’t answer the phone? I go there and they didn’t forget to put all over their windows they don’t do walk-ins but I was on their site before going and there was no mention of this at all. People should be aware of this. I went during restaurant hours and they appeared to be closed and their site and google said they were open. I was really looking forward to try try their food I’m disappointed that I was unable to.

Love the owner Miss B. She is such a sweet lady! Not only that I live about 40mins away and still drive at least once a week to get Egusi and pounded yam. She is the reason I fell completely in love with egusi!! Love her and her food.

My favorite restaurant in the whole valley. The food is always delicious, and the right amount of spicy. I use to get food here once a week during the pandemic, but now they are not open as often. I’ve gotten food here with multiple friends, and everyone liked the food! My Nigerian friend also said it’s authentic! My favorite is Egusi with goat, with pounded yam. But other soups are tasty as well. The BBQ chicken wings taste really good, and reminds me of 奥尔良烤翅 in China.I also like the zobo drink. it tastes a bit medicinal, so maybe not everyone will like it.

The food from this wonderful woman is so phenomenal and impressive. The goat pepper soup and fufus are incredible and i’m sure everything else is too. It is obvious that there is so much love in this food. It is important to keep in mind that this food takes time! Order in advance. Especially if you’re ordering for multiple people. Also, just because someone isn’t up to your American politeness standards, doesn’t mean that their intentions are to be rude. Be kind!
