Based on the reviews, Sok's | Bar & Grill looks like a typical hole in the wall dive bar from the outside. Inside, the atmosphere is light and roomy with a bar vibe, but the menu is not your average pub food. The food is awesome, fresh, and delicious, featuring an Asian inspired remix that includes traditional Japanese food, Mexican, and American. The crab rangoons are a highlight, and other dishes like the tonkatsu ramen (hot and spicy with pork belly) and the Davy Udon are unbelievably flavorful. The pork belly tacos are also recommended. However, the service is not great and can be slow and unfriendly, though one good bartender was noted. The place is very clean with plenty of parking in back. There is a lack of clear signage about whether to seat yourself, but once seated, the service can be friendly and attentive. It is best to think of it as a nice bar that happens to have a large and upscaled food menu. The place is also noted for helping people in need with love and hope.
