A very special eatery for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They use fresh local ingredients, preparing delicious food and bake goods that are delicious. It’s managed by friendly and welcoming staff, who take pride in everything they make.

A great space that offers a lot to the community. Good food (especially love the GF Chocolate, Walnut cookie) and kind staff.

I waited 20+ minutes for a sandwich while watching 3 disorganized staff people fumbling around with orders. Only one was efficiently taking orders and making sandwiches. One stood waiting for the panini press, doing nothing for the 4-5 minutes in between, and one had the same gloves on to opening the fridge door, touch the food and wipe her hair out of her face. In the end I was given a piping hot sandwich that was absolutely not what I ordered. I never brought it back. It was a decent sandwich but I’d have loved to have the one I actually wanted.

Ordered latte with extra shot which was not added. The teens at the counter were clueless and clearly could not have cared less about the service. Coffee was a very light roast and tasted chalky. Room is nice space and gets 5 stars on that alone

For a $13 BLT (double bacon) you’d expect there to be a noticeable amount of bacon. Mayo was oily and runny. Bread was okay… forgot the pickle.

If I could give 6 stars I would. This was truly one of the best dining experiences I have had. I have been here for brunch numerous times but only recently found out they serve dinner. I saw that it was Mexican and was interested to see how it would hold up. This was some of the best food that I have ever had and the service was immaculate, very attentive and knowledgeable about what we were eating. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

We stopped here during a weekend trip and had a lovely breakfast. The staff is very kind and welcoming, chai and tea selections were great, & pastries really fresh and delicious. They even gave us an actual tea pot. Parking across the road. Great place.

The Southfield Store is possibly my favorite restaurant in the world, especially for brunch. The food is tasty, imaginative and beautifully presented. The various eggs benedicts are our go-tos, with the oyster mushroom being an absolute favorite. I also love the system of ordering at the counter. Makes everything more efficient with less waiting around. The Southfield Store is not to be missed on a trip to the Berkshires.

Absolutely loved the feel of dining at a old-time general store setting… Store atmosphere, great lighting, and very quaint…. The food was absolutely amazing and the Tres Leche cake legendary!! Quite a long lag between ordering dessert and getting it, but other than that, we enjoyed our experience there and look forward to dining there again.
