Love the staff and scrumptious food. It can be very busy during winter months and lacks enough seating but good for them that it is very popular for good reason!Vegetarian options: Ask for what you want in the meal. Can be tailored.

Absolutely delicious French toast and blueberries, some of the best French toast I’ve ever had. Coffee was amazing too, 10/10!

Went a while ago, meet the owner (really nice guy). The beer selection is great, coffee is delicious, and the food was superb. Highly recommend the sweet potato saffron soup!

It pains me and my wife to concur with the scores. But over the years, the staff and the quality of breakfast have not been up to the standards of previous visits. Dinner or lunch has been good but not terrific.

My husband and I stopped for breakfast while visiting the Berkshires. Both the food and service were exceptional. The breakfast burrito and lemon caper breakfast sandwich were delicious, as were the raspberry and chocolate pastries. I found the cozy vibe very inviting and the service friendly and efficient despite the busy morning rush. Chef Maggie not only cooked the egg on my sandwich perfectly, but also gave me information on sites to see in the area which made my time there even more special. I highly recommend The Southfield Store for its tasty breakfast sandwiches and great hospitality.

No matter how much I want to like this local cafe, I struggle with the attitude of the servers. A friendly face will enhance the experience especially when the hardware on the cashier's face is so distracting. I heard that the place had a 'make over' but all I noticed was that the woodwork was a darker stain. Had coffee and a very salty cheese bun -- luckily the place sells newspapers, so I will most likely return next year.

Waited almost an hour for a few sandwiches which forgot pickles and added bacon (which I paid for). Great environment and tasty sandwiches, but they seemed overwhelmed.

Small out-of-the-way cafe with an excellent brunch menu: french toast, omelettes, and more. Also excellent pastries. Worth a trip!

Sometimes, I don't think people realize that the quality of the service you receive is 1/2 of the review. So I think the owners of this place need to let some of their staff know that. I received the wrong sandwich I ordered over the phone, when I saw it was wrong, I had already arrived at my house. I called to let them know, and the girl who took my order was extremely rude about it. I definitely won't be heading back there with that type of service.

Lovely spot in a small, serene town to grab breakfast, brunch, lunch, or a quick bite and cup of coffee. The outdoor seating area is nice and there aren’t very many cars that pass by. I got a turkey sandwich on whole grain bread and it was just what I expected. I don’t usually get sprouts on sandwiches but they made a very tasty addition. The outdoor area is dog friendly, as many of the customers had their companions with them (on leashes of course). I only heard good things about the food from the rest of my party. My only complaint is that they didn’t seem to bring out table settings for those sitting outside.Vegetarian options: Plenty of food options for vegetarians
