It took over 20 minutes for our drinks to come. I ordered a frozen margarita and it tasted awful. Did not complain but ordered a soda instead. I ordered the steak with a side of fries and a caesar salad. The caesar had a hair in it, but again didn’t complain. Then, my steak comes out with a hair underneath and my fries never came out. I let our waitress know, and she apologized and sent out the manager. The manager then proceeded to tell me that he “looked at this steak and found multiple hairs on it. All of his staff wear hairnets so it couldn’t possibly have come from his staff. So unless it flew it on it from the kitchen to the table he’s not sure what happened.” I was appalled. The customer service is terrible. He then asked me if i still wanted the fries, i said sure and was charged for a whole appetizer of fries. Do not waste your time going here. (I’d like to add that i’m not complaining about paying for the fries that i did eat BUT the fries came with my meal i shouldn’t have been charged $7.)

A hidden gem of Southwick! A great spot on the lake. The restaurant offers 3 bars inside and a full bar on the huge deck out back. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was very good! Pics are King cut prime rib special, and chicken stir fry

Come to find out 2 other patrons with service dogs were also told to leave while seated outside as we were. We went here today with my wife and a service dog with us. We were greeted by other patrons on the outside deck by what a cute dog etc. Even though that was nice to hear, after we were seated, and the waitress brought out our waters and such, a very rude and uninformed woman came out saying, and I quote "we do not accept any animals here, and if it a service dog they have to wear a vest and you have to show us your paperwork " end quote. Never have I heard a most ignorant person when it comes to American with dDsabilities Act. In short, they may ask if it is a service dog, they may ask what service the dog provides for you period. May not ask for a demonstration of the dogs training, the dogs training paperwork, a written documentation from the Doctor stating your disability. Violates Hippa laws in addition to all that is morally unjust to do so. The establishment broke the law via the ADA federal for all public .places. if a person were blind, are they to ask for paperwork fromthe blind person to prove that they are blind? This place and that manager should be ashamed for breaking the law and being so rude and uncaring towards people with disabilities. What kind of people run this place if they can careless about those who are physically inept in ways that those more fortunate are in their physical capabilities. This place and will be reported to the ADA. They are a disgrace. Meaning the ignorant manager who can careless about persons disabilities.

Lobster rolls were awesome. Loaded with large hunks of lobster. Everyone in our party of 10 were pleased with their food ! Great service too.

Everytime I go to either Blackboard the food is great! Never had a bad meal. The employees are very friendly (of course some more than others). Love the atmosphere on the lake and the bands are great! Highly recommend for great food, drinks and people!
