Local music in a cozy cafe', the Daily Grind in Southwick is the perfect place to meet with friends on Sunday after church. An energetic selection of local musicians complement the local roasters that supply the caffeine behind the Grind. I do wish that the pastries were made in-house , but their soups and sandwiches are all quite delicious. You'll never have bad service, as the local teens who work here are dedicated to making your day a little better.
Just a note: There are not many tables for groups or families outside of the conference room (3+ people). The design is more of a living room chair set up. If you need to pull together a couple of smaller tables, do your thing! Please don't miss out on a good time.
The Daily Grind does a lot for the Community, and it is great to have the community support them.

My first visit to this establishment. I travel a great deal and look forward to finding places with the best cups of coffee. The coffee served to me was perfect. Also, they have heavy cream as an option, which most places don’t offer. The baristas were kind, friendly and have a good sense of humor. Highly recommend for their coffee. Thank you!

Interior isn’t what it used to be. Shelves are attractive with fake flowers and misc “filler” but miss the shelves of unique books for sale - cookbooks, children’s books, romances, etc. I could’ve stayed there for hours …before. Miss that feeling it had.

Pretty much a perfect coffee shop. Vanilla latte was good. Lemonade was good. Service truly warm and kind. Can't beat it. Comfortable seating, too. Great vibe.

The employees were very amiable! However, this place desperately needs renovations. Their outdated interior is not cute. Their savory food options are absolutely delicious but their pastries are not. You can tell they reheat them from frozen form. And their coffee is not specialty. So if you’re looking for great coffee unfortunately this isn’t the place. I do like their bookshelves though!

My family has been coming here for years since our youngest attended Open Arms daycare next door. No matter where you sit you will find a comfortable chair. Service is great and their lattes are perfect. You have to come early to get a variety of baked goods, they sell out fast. Their soups and wraps are delicious.
I love the variety of bands that perform here, but I don’t understand why some are booked for Sunday afternoons. This is the busiest day. People come after church in groups to visit with one another and everyone has to shout over the music. No one is listening to the performer who is trying to sing over the crowd. This causes a very loud and chaotic scene on Sundays.

I just had the best sandwich! I ordered the July special - fresh mozzarella cheese, juicy tomato, fresh basil, olive oil, pesto and balsamic vinaigrette on ciabatta bread. It was mouthwatering and delicious! Shout out to Myles for making the perfect, refreshing summer sandwich!

Nice atmosphere but i thought it would be quiet, it was very loud, people talking loud and much worse was banging and clanging extremely loudly from behind the counter. No the quite space i thought.

This is an excellent cafe located in the front of a cute little church - highly recommend. Everything here (drinks / food ) is so fresh and delicious
