I remember Charlies from Plantation St, Worcester in the early sixties and the original father who ran the diner, Charlie was in his twenties then, it was a very popular place, now it's in Spencer and still popular !

Went for breakfast and ordered eggs, sausage, home fries and toast. The eggs were great and the home fries were ok. The sausage links were dry, over done and had to use a knife to cut them. The toast was as hard as a rock.
My second time at Charlie's yesterday. Quick seating, great service and fantastic food. We ordered the nachos which were amazing. I loved the baked haddock with rice pilaf and coleslaw. Can't wait to come back!

Pass it almost daily and was finally able to stop in and try! Great food, great service! I enjoyed there not being TVs in the dining area! Keep people more connected with those present! Our server Kaylee (not sure how she spells it lol) was on top of things, and quite amusing! Loved her energy! Will definitely be back some time!

Out for a ride and stopped for lunch as last time we were in the area we enjoyed our visit. This time not so much. We had the Rubens as we noticed others had ordered and looked good. Service was ok but male bartender more interested talking to the regulars, he never once acknowledged or asked if we needed something. We had to wait for other bartender to get service. Atmosphere wasn't as we remembered. Prices were reasonable and plenty of seating. Nothing about visit would drive us back but place is a local favorite and has loyal customers.
