It was good for food to eat before none hit. Very strange the day i went because they do reservations or order out but there was barely anyone there. Def the food was hot fresh of the fryer.
This place got it RIGHT!!!! That steak was amazing! 1636 is always a great local spot with a ritzy vibe 🫶🏾 I ordered my food door dash and it tasted the same as if I had it in the restaurant!
We ended up here due to our intended restaurant being closed. It was the BEST mistake ever. The food was amazing! Everything came out hot and fresh. Julie (the owner) answered all our questions about the restaurant, shared her and her husband's story and it truly felt like we were dining with family. We had the brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, potatoes, yams and garlic chicken. And then Julie brought us churros for Cinco de Mayo! It was hard to pick just one meal off...
