I've ordered from BoriSushi multiple times over the years but this last experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered a Bentobox (shrimp teriyaki, arroz con gandules, Boricua roll and egg roll) from BoriSushi via DoorDash ($15 but $24+ with delivery fees included). Instead, I received a plate of rice, a few shrimp and an "I owe you"note stuck to the food container (please see the picture attached) . BoriSushi wrote "we are almost closing, no sushi, no egg roll. I'm sorry. I owe you" .I decided to give BoriSushi the benefit of the doubt and went in person to inquire about the note the following day. The woman I spoke to admitted she wrote the note. When I asked if I they intended to give me rest of my order, the woman looked confused and said that she didn't mean "I owe you" like that. She then offered to refund me $2 for the "egg roll" but did not acknowledge the missing sushi. I then asked whey they accepted an order they knew they could not fulfill it and why they did not give me an opportunity to cancel the order or select another menu item. The woman then stated that they notified DoorDash about the issues and that DoorDash agreed to notify me. The woman then directed me to contact DoorDash.Upon contacting DoorDash and them reviewing there notes, they confirmed that there is no evidence that BoriSushi ever contacted them about an issue fulfilling the order. Therefore, they did not approve the partial order.

Love this business and the family that runs it. They're polite and pleasant and the sushi is AMAZING ! They have really good customer service to me. The store recently moved and I'm excited to see their new location. I really recommend you trying it because it's honestly really good !!

Amazing! ¡Delicioso! Just tried for the first time and cannot wait to go back. We ordered the BoriParty #1 and the Pescador. Loved all! Our favs were the Pescador and the Guava. They were extremely good. This place is a must! And I've eaten sushi in tons of places, including Puerto Rico. My husband went as far as saying this is the best sushi he's ever had. Take out was very nicely packed. And the sushi chef was so nice when I asked if she could identify each sushi and she took the time to talk to me about the other sushi and other food. The woman at the bar was also professional, smiley and nice. Can't wait to try out BoriChino, too!

The main reason I came here was to get a sushi but they ran out of their rice which is the pigeon pea rice arroz con gandules. Hopefully next time I come earlier to try it.

Sushi was delicious! I love the Puertorican twist to sushi! They just need to work on customer service...I asked for soy sauce and I got the Chinese restaurant soy sauce packages with NO dish/bowl to dip. Had to ask another waitress for the dish. Waitress did not check in with us for water refill, if we needed anything, if we wanted to order anything, etc. We just got the bill before I was served the last two rolls ; no communication. Enjoyed the music, but the ambience is lacking and not inviting. No decor, just green paint everywhere. The place looks like it used to me a night cluch/lounge or something...AGAIN, I will go back for the sushi, but they can use some decor and better customer service.

Finally got some food from this place. I got the Mar y Tierra bento box and everything is so good!! My favorite part is the egg roll. I let my boyfriend try and he regrets not getting something so he's heading back right now to order his own. Well worth the money.

I am leaving my THIRD review because my first one was ignored, my second I put 5 stars and mentioned that she was giving me a birthday reward which I appreciated and then she replied a very unprofessional and rude response. If you’re going to run a business learn how to speak to people it’s really not that hard. Using emojis like “?” and using words like “not sure your intentions ma’am “ to start of the response instead of “HI” would’ve been better too, clearly things aren’t being learned while running her business and she may need more people to work for her at this point , I wish nothing but the best for her and her family but I will not be getting anything from here . This was my first impression and by far the rudest most unprofessional establishment I’ve delt with for a long time and as someone who deals with rating food in different areas she will not be appreciative about mine . Learn respect and learn how to speakTo people . My intention with this third review is toPotentially get a better response and respect because this company lacks it CLEARLY. I’ve shared this with friends and family and they agree the response was not okay.

Irritated beyond !! I came at 3:45!!! They close at 7!!! And they were closed ! I called twice and no one answered! They shouldn’t have open on the stupid website if their not ! Beyond unprofessional. They ruined my birthday seriously
