All the negative reviews made me nervous, so I went down the street to hit Red Rose. That place was packed to the hilt. So I decided to give Ciro's a shot. Walked two blocks down the road and walked in. Place was basically empty on a Wednesday night, so I parked myself at the bar. Omg... the friendliest and most Italian staff as you can get. Come on! Amazing. Got a glass of Vino, and ordered the Rollitini. Whoa, delish. Then I got my main order... the Gnocci....
I NEVER write reviews, but writing one now. Business owner here in town and picked this place randomly, was only one there at 5pm (I don't think they had officially opened yet and there was something else big going on in town that had the crowds focused on that and not dining), so I had the whole place to myself for a while. Owner Anthony (aka 'Ant') greeted me, didn't turn me away and immediately engaged in conversation. Highest level of professionalism. I...
Food was outstanding. The manager was the chef and the bartender all night long. We had a party of 10 and meals came out 2 every 5 minutes. It was terrible. Our server was very polite but he had his hands full. There were only 3 other tables in the restaurant. We had our reservation in a week ahead of time so there was no reason to not be sufficiently staffed
