Strange.......Here's the funny story, my wife and I just drove here after driving from Atlantic City so we are wearing comfortable cloths... Sweat pants and I wearing jeans....Nothing was available because we didn't do a reservation but the couple right behind us that we were talking also didn't have a reservation all of a sudden had availability...But we needed a reservation!Just felt like the two hostess judged a book by its cover. So basically at 5:15pm if you don't have a reservation or a party of 10+ they don't care....Here's the end of the story. They had a bunch of tables including the bar that no reservation is needed. Conclusion: if your money isn't green enough you best go elsewhere

Didn't have high hopes but pleasant service from MichaelAmalfi mule was tastyArtichoke risotto very good.Carbonate pizza nice and chicken saltimbocca good too (it is a little smoky which isn't quite my thing)I'm sure prices are high for springfield, but it is in a casino! It's not the most amazing meal I've ever had but we eat at great restaurants all the time. There was nothing to complain about. It was a Sunday and not busy at all, I'm sure that plays a factor into my experience.

Pizza was decent but you waited a while for it. Server was friendly and prompt. The ambiance is open space and cold.

Decent experience. Sat at the bar and it was around 8:00 or so I want to say. Pretty dead in there. We were stopping in to the casino after a trip up to Yankee Candle. Bread was cold and not exciting. Split a Caesar salad and I got the Shrimp a la vodka. Was excited for a nice rich vodka sauce. Usually a heavy sauce. This was different. It was a light sauce. It was nice but could have maybe used a bit more sauce. I did enjoy it though. Good flavor. I hate when restaurants do this tho - bring all the food out at once. We got salad and entrees at once. It's as if they wanted us out asap. I get it. No one really there but it is very tacky.

I was brought here for my birthday: the hostess was ok, the waitress was ok. The food was terrible. We had three different dishes and each of us had to add so much salt to even make these dishes palatable. My friend ordered chicken saltimbocca and she literally received a chicken tender basically. No side. We got more in our calamari appetizer. Don’t waste your money. Go to Red Rose.

This place is so pretty inside- very classy and inviting. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very on top of the service. We had a few drinks and the chicken parm, bolognese and the meatballs- EVERYTHING came out hot and delicious! Highly recommend checking this place out ;)

I ordered two pizza slices, I was hungry, I preferred a nice tossed salad but the dude at the register stated that they were out of salads, smh, I thought that was strange but ok, the pizza was ok, had no flavor and the sauce was bland, Dude on register and the pizza makers looked high Or something, I wont be eating here again..

This is a nice hotel and casino with a big selection of restaurants and food courts. It also has a theater and bowling alley, so not just for the 21 and over. There is a beautiful pool, as well. All areas of the hotel and casino are well maintained and kept clean.

Overall, we had a great experience at MGM Springfield. I personally love the aesthetic of the entire place - lots of brick and industrial accents, as well as other elements that reflect the history of Springfield. Our bed was comfortable and everything seemed clean. I think the only thing I noticed was that (at least in our room) there was very limited drawer space. Not a problem for us, but if you like to unpack your suitcase there isn’t much space to unpack into. The pool was nice - nothing standout there. You do need an actual room key and not the digital one on your phone though! Also loved the outside plaza, with Adirondack chairs and a large outdoor screen.

Absolutely awful experience right from the start. My husband and I were there for our anniversary to see a concert and arrived around 130 knowing check in is 3 but thinking we could use the pool beforehand. We arrived and were “greeted” by Alaysia who was extremely rude and shouldn’t have a job in any customer service setting, didn’t acknowledge us because she was too busy on her phone - we were literally the only ppl there she wasn’t busy whatsoever. She let us know our room wasn’t ready so I said no problem can you hold our bags so we can wait at the pool. Nope, that’s an extra $50 for early check in. As if I didn’t pay enough for the room I then had to pay $50 to check in an HOUR early so I could now use the pool. Then I get to the pool and my husband and my mobile key wouldn’t unlock the pool door, after 10 minutes of asking for help on the floor no one could understand me to help me and I again went to the front desk. A new person was there then and informed me mobile keys never work for the pool — would have been nice to know that beforehand when I first checked in and paid EXTRA just to use the pool. I could go on and on but the service was AWFUL. Thank god it was only one night and we continued our anniversary at a real resort with REAL customer service. Don’t waste your money

We had a comped night for the MGM and took advantage. I really like the hotel and the quirky decor. It is only 6 stories so no high rise glitz and glam. The Stay Well rooms are super; air purifiers, vitamin C induced shower, great linens. It feels very safe. The pool area is small and too many kids but on a hot summer day it is to be expected. The casino is small but functional. The drink service is very good and the slots vary from tight to good depending on what you play. There is lots to do on the weekends but not so much during the week.
