Ever since I met this couple who are in the restaurant business (over 20 years ago,) I've always been a fan of their food. Standout dishes include the mofongo with pork, the tender and flavorful oxtails, pigfeet, mashed plantains, and an amazing skirt steak. A whole platter of meat is noted as the best, while the white rice, pulled pork, rice and beans, tripleta, and burger are also enjoyed. Portions are generous and prices are fair and cheap. It is a great spot for a casual night out and is highly recommended.
