Osteria Reviews
I hosted a dinner party after my daughter's graduation on May 2nd. I had met with the owner, Lyndsay, in advance and saw the private upstairs area. The cocktails were delicious. None of us had eaten there before and I wanted someplace new and different. Everything about the evening was perfect and Lyndsay went...read full review

Osteria is a highly recommended Italian restaurant that offers a variety of delectable dishes, including homemade pasta and amazing desserts. The vinaigrette salad is a crowd-pleaser, and the Ragu Alla Bolognese with meatballs is a customer favorite. The Shrimp Gran Marnier and Black pepper short Rib are expertly prepared. The restaurant caters to gluten-free dietary needs, and the $10 menu on Mondays features new and satisfying options. The wine selection is great.
The service is pleasant, and the bar seating is an enjoyable experience. Customers are generally satisfied with the dining experience at Osteria, though there is always room for improvement. The restaurant's lunch menu has pleasantly surprised guests with its variety and unique offerings compared to the dinner menu. The bartender, Lyndsay, is a big fun personality and always entertaining, and she is also the manager. She is known for remembering regular customers and their favorite drinks, and one guest mentioned she was a Godsend, greeting them with open arms and a warm welcome. She even found and mailed a lost sentimental bracelet.
Osteria is a must-visit destination for both lunch and dinner in downtown Springfield, offering excellent food, service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The chicken cutlets were especially loved by one family.
