STAY AWAY - totally mismanaged disaster. Arrived at 8 PM and was seated immediately at the bar per my request. The bartender was busy but attentive, served us a round of drinks and provided menus within 10’ish minutes which was fine.

At 8:25, while still waiting to order we’re told the kitchen just announced they’re closing early…seriously?

Spoke with the manager Lindsey, who said they were too busy and running out of some food but she stated she was happy we were able to come in for a drink. There was no interest in serving whatever they had left. We’re from out of town on a work trip. Any food would’ve been fine.

So they’ll seat you, close early, yet unabashedly take your money. As a business owner, I would’ve apologized and comp’d the drinks. At a minimum, total failure to deliver on advertised expectations on posted hours.

Great wine selection, homemade pasta, and amazing desserts! I cannot tell you the amazing service, cocktails, and food that I enjoyed at this restaurant. I was there as a tourist and found it serendipitously, and it was one of the highlights of my trip!

Lyndsay is the bartender and manager, she is a big fun personality and always entertaining! We love to stop in at the bar for appetizers, martini or sangria, and then stay for dinner.

My family shared our daughter's graduation dinner at Osteria on May 15th. It was a wonderful experience. We especially loved the chicken cutlets.

Lindsay was a Godsend! She was the first person we me, as we walked in..greeted us with open arms, friendly smile and warm welcome!

Unfortunately, I left my very sentimental bracelet ( that my daughter brought me from a trip to Ireland ) in the ladies room. I removed it to wash my hands.
l
Upon calling the next day, Lindsay told me she found it, then quickly mailed it out to me . She refused my offer to pay a shipping fee.

Lindsay made the experience so special. The bracelet carries such. heartfelt value - I cannot thank her enough. Osteria is so very fortunate to have such a kind and honest employee. I can't thank her enough!

I had lunch here for the first time this afternoon. I had been several times before for dinner, but I wanted to get a gift card for a friend's birthday and was pleasantly surprised to see that they were open for lunch. Dinner here has always been excellent - the burrata is our favorite and they make great creative cocktails. But the lunch menu was an unexpected surprise in terms of variety and different options from the dinner menu. I opted for a chicken cutlet sandwich with a citrus aioli and arugula. It was clearly made from scratch and totally delicious. To top it off, the bartender (who is also one of the owners) actually remembered me (and my favorite cocktail on their menu) from previous visits. This place is well worth a trip into downtown Springfield for lunch or dinner. You won't regret it.

We ended up coming here because everything else was closed on a Monday night in Springfield. I am very glad everything else was closed. This was an excellent meal with excellent service. The only reason the atmosphere got a four stars was because the air conditioning was a little too high and we got cold. Allie is an absolutely wonderful, adorable, attentive server. The bartender made the best espresso martini I've ever had. We will return. Cudos to you all!

Friendly and accommodating service. Food was tasty and unique. Our appetizers, polenta fries and burrata bruschetta were fun! The gnocchi with sausage and spinach was very good. The seasonal risotto with asparagus, peas, and prosciutto was innovative and great. Prices are very reasonable for big lunch portions. We’ll be back!
