recently visited Wingz & Wafflez for breakfast, hoping to enjoy one of the dishes they’re known for. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in several important ways. Upon placing my initial order, our waitress returned about four minutes later to inform us that they were out of fish — one of the items they advertise heavily for breakfast. Although disappointed, I decided to try something else and ordered the salmon patties instead. A few minutes later, she returned again, this time explaining that they were also out of salmon patties and bacon. At that point, it felt like nearly every staple breakfast item was unavailable. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak with the owner about the situation, we were told the owner wasn’t even present at the establishment. Between the limited inventory, lack of communication, and absence of management, the place came across as very poorly run. The one saving grace? The fish — when they do have it — is genuinely delicious. It’s clear the kitchen can deliver good food, but the overall operation desperately needs better management, consistent inventory, and stronger leadership to match the quality of their signature dishes. Until those issues are addressed, Wingz & Wafflez is a hit-or-miss experience, and sadly, my visit leaned heavily toward the miss.

I want to sincerely express my appreciation for Mr. Smalls services. I mean the fish was to literally eat all day!!! This haddock is the best ever… a must try. Fish was hot and ready to enjoy with loved ones. Rick and I along with guests tore that fish up. We thank you for great, outstanding service and soul taste.

Wingz & Wafflez knows how to do breakfast right! Their eggs, toast, potatoes and meat plate was fresh, hot and cooked to perfection. The eggs were fluffy, the toast is crisp, the potatoes have the perfect seasoning and the bacon and sausage is top-quality. What really sets them apart is their attention to detail—using wax paper to keep the food from touching the styrofoam container. It’s a small touch that makes a big difference, keeping everything fresh and just as delicious as if it were served on a plate. Highly recommend!

Definitely, every time I come in town This is my go to breakfast spot. The hot beef sausage,eggs,home fries, Grits and english muffin. And you can never go wrong with their Fish and grits for lunch. Keep up the good work

Definitely no famous southern hospitality. I walk in no greeting. They looked at me as if I walk into the wrong place. Wings and fries were nasty and greasy. Cardiac arrest greasy. The place looks dark.
