I use to love the food here but the last two vegetarian dishes were awful and over priced.
The service was subpar and atmosphere disruptive and loud.

Food is great, though pricey. Inside is very very loud, so we usually do takeout. I only wish they had a children's menu and included more chips with the guacamole.

This was a place that was very quick and very welcoming place to snag some Mexican food while in Sterling, MA area. Heard about this place and had to check it out. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed speaking with owner & bartender while watching some MLB playoffs.

Of course I have to begin with the enchilada suisaz, and they were outstanding. The outside was perfectly golden and crisp, covered with cheese and the first bite revealed a generous filling of tender, juicy pork that was seasoned beautifully. The flavor was rich and savory, with just the right balance of spices that gave it depth without overwhelming the palate. Every mouthful felt indulgent, yet comforting at the same time. Can't forget the side of beans that were hearty and satisfying, along with the perfect side of yellow rice to accompany my enchilada. Together, it was a plate that felt both authentic and elevated.

For dessert, I treated myself to the tres leches cake, and it was the perfect sweet ending. The cake was light, moist, and soaked through with that delicious three-milk blend that made every bite melt in my mouth striking with just the right balance. The whipped cream topping was fluffy and fresh, and the drizzle of caramel added a lovely touch of richness. Honestly, it was one of the best versions of tres leches I've ever had.

The bartender Jasmin who took great care of us, was amazing and provided us with the best service and conversation one could ask for, she made our amazing visit even more memorable than it already was.

Highly recommend!

We enjoyed this restaurant. We were seated immediately. The decor was festive. We were served quickly and might we say our server Luis was a firecracker. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and entertaining. He should get a raise or at least be named waiter of the month. The food was filling and tasty. The bathrooms were clean.

I had an incredible dining experience at The Brick in Sterling! This hidden gem offers top-notch Mexican-style cuisine that truly stands out. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and professional — clearly a team that cares about the customer experience. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavor, and it's clear that special attention is paid to the quality and balance of ingredients. Whether it's the house-made salsas, perfectly seasoned proteins, or freshly prepared sides, everything feels crafted with care. The Brick delivers more than just great food — it offers a thoughtful, elevated twist on classic Mexican flavors in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. 4 of us went for dinner on a Saturday for 500pm, and arrived 5-10 minutes early. This is a small place but gets heavy local traffic, as there was a line already waiting (mostly non-reservations or take-outs) outside the door, and mobbed inside. Super busy, and the staff works their feet for sure. This is not a place to start out as your first job as a server, Table gets nachos (refillable if asked) and salsa, and fresh guac when asked. Great guacamole, but the salsa was nice medium spiced, and was more liquid than I'd like. I think adding some crushed tomatoes or a puree would help out to thicken it bit. Companions ordered the Grill margarita specials which they enjoyed. The food looks pretty good to the pics on the menu, too. I had the Seafood stew which had light Buttery (but not overly) seafood flavor. Fish, mussels, crab legs, shrimps, maybe some other stuff in there too. And for me, enough for half to go home. And it was delicious the following night, too. Appetizers for me were coconut butterflied shrimp, with a pleasant orange sauce, Another hit. One companion ordered just the plate of Tacos with cheese and ground beef, which was large, and another had their steak special, which looked great. He said it was excellent, especially from a Mex-style restuarant. Not a long wait at all for the food items, considering the crowd. It opens at 4pm, so I would say that's the best time to avoid the crowd and noise. The crowd probably lessens after 730-8p, so that may be a better time to avoid the noise and crushed humanity! Lunch is served starting at noon on Friday or Saturdays. Even the modest separated dining portion can't escape the noise from the center tables and the bar area and TV. So if you don't like a crowd to meander through, chart your dining time accordingly. A 14% tip is added in at the bottom of the bill, but it also offers varying percentage options too, to select, so be aware. You get what you pay for: I find it to be high quality food, and priced appropriately. If their food is very good, and I am served enough for a modest take-home bag, to boot, it becomes a win for me, which it was. It Is in the center of a small town, so there is on-street parking, with a small municipal lot across the street. If it were not for the standing room crowd, I would give 5 stars, so with that known, it's a solid 4 stars in my book. I plan to go back....but not at 5pm! Just sayin'.
