My husband and I had Capers cater our wedding in 2023. I usually don't leave reviews but wanted to make sure I left one so interested customers could read how great they are. We worked with Keryn who is incredible, to help us craft the perfect menu for our wedding. Food was the most important part of our wedding and we tasked them with wanting perfection for our friends and family. They certainly delivered. From beginning to end they were constantly professional, helpful and always went above and beyond. The tasting in and of itself was an experience. They made sure we tried an array of options and gave great suggestions along the way. Many of our friends and family have said it was the best food they've had at a wedding. One person said "this is the best meal I've ever had". They somehow managed to get 90 people hot food, that was carefully curated and perfect quality. Their wide array of food options made it a difficult choice of what to pick, but it always allows you to be able to pick some unique options that you don't typically see at weddings. We were at our cousins wedding this weekend and he also used Capers. I think the food quality has only gotten better over the last year. You will not be dissapointed if you hire Capers for your wedding or next event. I can't recommend them enough!

So professional, so pleasant and smart and she had so many great ideas! She made us feel right at ease. The food was phenomenal! The wait staff was outstanding too! This is the first catered party where we didn't have to worry or run around like crazy trying to do it all ourselves-Capers staff took care of every little detail and we were able to just relax and watch them work their magic! Also, the variety of different food choices they can offer is unbelievable, and innovative, not like regular caterers!! We 100% recommend Capers and will use the next time we have a party! Starting from the tasting, we felt like Dulce and the team were attentive to our needs and voices, and did everything to bring our vision to life. We went with an extensive menu (6 apps, 4 entree options, 5 desserts and 4 late night snacks). Everything was uniquely creative, delicious and impeccable, while accommodating all of our guests’ dietary restrictions. We’re still hearing from our friends how great the food was. Chefs, servers and bartenders were highly skilled, professional, friendly and responsive. Capers are not a cheap option, but they certainly deliver top notch food and service. Capers did the catering for our wedding on 10/8. Our previous caterer had to cancel on us and Capers stepped up and blew us away. We had duck for dinner and lamb for appetizers! We had vegan and gluten free guests and they loved their options as well, don't worry. Their tasting room was fun too!

When looking for caterers we sought out catering companies that could cook both American/European and Asian food well as we are an interracial couple and Capers did not disappoint! They were able to create a wonderful blend of both tastes that made all our guests happy. Also, all of our vegan guests came up to us commend us for having the best vegan option that they ever had at a wedding. My husband and I kept switching our dishes during dinner of the duck and the filet because we couldn't decide which one we liked best.

Capers is an incredible catering company and absolutely worth every penny. Aside from a couple of dietary restriction exceptions, our wedding was entirely vegetarian. Capers seemed to be the only catering company willing to take up the task. My dad (an extreme carnivore) actually came up to me after dinner and told me how he was surprised at how much he enjoyed the dinner and that it was surprising that it tasted so good without having any meat in it. Keryn was so wonderful and organized the entire time, a total pleasure to work with. And then on the actual wedding day, I felt so taken care of. Capers even put together a plate of all of the passed hors d'oeuvres while we were taking pictures during cocktail hour.

From our tasting on site to multiple iterations and edits up until the week before, they did nothing but exceed expectations. Every member of the staff we interacted with from the chef, event coordinator (special shout out to Anneliese), bar manager and bar staff to game day servers were top shelf. Our guests still talk about the tuna tartare macrons and the mini short-rib Yorkshires with horseradish cream. The passed desserts and mini espresso martinis late night were also a hit. Our event was made exceptional by their attention to detail and flawless execution. Hats off to Capers Catering.

We were incredibly happy with both the food and the service at our wedding. We got so many compliments on the food, with special praise for the Peach Salad with Crispy Prosciutto; some of our guests even said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and they've been to a lot of weddings. We also thought the servers at our wedding were truly excellent. We found that the tasting was really crucial - we really loved some but not all of our initial choices, and we worked with Capers to get to a menu where we absolutely loved all of it.

We hired Capers to cater our wedding at the recommendation of our wedding planner and we could not have been happier with our experience with them! They have a huge menu selection and will customize/add anything you request and the food was amazing! We ended up offering 3 entrees instead of 2 because we really couldn't pick just 2 that we wanted. We got a steak dish, a lobster dish, and a vegetarian pasta dish, as well as multiple appetizers and some late-night snacks and everything was hot and fresh and the food was so good. The addition of the Olive Twist VW bar (referred to us by Capers) was so sweet and we still get compliments on it months after our wedding! We highly recommend Capers for any wedding or event. The staff was so accommodating as well, and so helpful above and beyond what is expected of the catering staff.
