The food and service were not bad and the cook was friendly. I did have an issue with how the cooked food was divided. If split by 3 or 4 people. The fourth person would get a lot less. Also, if you were not getting fried rice. The white rice serviced with your soup and salad. Which would sit there until your meal was cooked. I'm surprised your food is not cold from the waiting, but putting hot food on your plate one item at a time helps. This place is pretty average.

Pretty standard menu with Japanese and Chinese options. This is our favorite takeout on weeknights in Reading and always good. Dining in is nice, clean and the service is fast and perfect amount of attention. The menu isn’t super creative and leaves me wanting more options like maybe some soup or steamed dumplings but I think their strength is hibachi and sushi.

I’m a regular at Tulips. The food is simply amazing. I was there this past weekend with a group of 4. As soon as we sat down, we were met with out of control kids. I saw three adults and 5 kids. The adults exercised zero control and let the kids cause chaos in the dining area. It was disgusting that parents would allow their kids to disrespect patrons. I’m also shocked that the Tulips staff didn’t step in and take control.
