To everyone complaining about prices… you have NO idea how expensive these animals are to maintain.
They eat 1000s of dollars worth of food, supplements, and medications a month-each. Veterinarians are expensive. Vet care is expensive. Fencing and enclosure materials are expensive. Construction is expensive. I’m a wildlife biologist and I’ve volunteered and worked for and with many zoological facilities. Yes, this is smaller facility. Size doesn’t equate to excellence…...
