It is a small place but they are the most delicious smoked pork ribs I have ever tasted!!!!! A perfect place to savor the real American BBQ. MUST IF YOU ARE CLOSE!!!!
Some of the meats were overcooked. I tried the brisket (slightly over), ribs (very over and cut horizontally through the bone??), and pulled pork. The sides however (Mac and Cheese and BBQ Beans) were excellent and the pork was good. The portions were decent for price and maybe it was just a bad day, but I know the difference between a nice bark (a smoked meat's crust) and and an overcooked rack.

Most of the food was awful. The brisket was extremely dry and needed to be covered with sauce to make it edible. Chicken drumstick was also dry and lacked any flavor. Beef ribs and collards were edible. House sauces on the table were good.

What a great group of people working at BT's! They distributed full dinners to people during the SNAP crisis due to the government shutdown.

Brisket Reuben is significantly bigger and better than the brisket sandwich. Brisket was slightly dry both times, mine is juicier and I'm a novice, they use acrid smoke as well, some people like it, not my thing. Potato salad was extremely small.

Consider this your friendly insider tip: B.T.'s Smokehouse is a tiny, no frills kind of place. The seats are limited and the food takes about an hour, so just come ready to relax and anticipate the goodness. (Fair warning, everything might arrive at once!) Based on a Sunday at 5pm visit.
But let's get to the important part: Was the food worth the wait and the DIY seating?
MY GOODNESS, YES!!!
I'm serious! I don't even like waiting that long, but one bite and I was converted.
* The potato salad? Flawless.
* The fries? Packed with flavor.
* Huge crunchy and sweet Onion rings, a bit oily but nonetheless delicious.
* The BRISKET, OOOOH THE BRISKET!!! π ππππ and π
* And the cornbread drenched in brisket juice... pure magic.
I can't recommend B.T.'s enough. It's a destination worthy ride (BIKERS, I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!) that ends with the happiest of full bellies!
ENJOY and let me know if I was spot on.

If McDonald's served BBQ, it would be better than this place. Brisket was dry. Ribs were way over done. Tastes like I was eating jerky. Pulled pork was dry. Possibly the worst BBQ I've ever had in my life, and I really don't think anywhere could actually be worse than this place. I don't even know why I bother eating out anymore with places this bad?

Absolutely amazing food, this was by far the best brisket sandwich I have ever tried. The sides were also incredible best coleslaw and Mac and cheese I've had in awhile. If you ever get the chance to try it do it.

A small little place serving great bbq food in Sturbridge. It was recommended to me by a local when I was visiting. Service was friendly and the food was beyond satisfying. I will return next time Iβm in town.
Beyond happy that my route finally brought me this way at lunch time. Got a traditional southern meal, brisket, mac and cheese, and slaw with a sweat tea and I gotta say the brisket fell right apart and was juicy. Mac and cheese was thick and flavorful. And the slaw had a good zing I think from the vinegar (which i like). Staff was smiley and warming and the bathroom you could write in chalk and feel like a big kid again lol love it wish I could give above 5 stars
