What really made it stand out though was the ice cream rich, creamy, and the perfect sweet finish after a great meal. It’s not every day you find a spot that does both pizza and ice cream this well. “Ordered a party size pepperoni and couldn't have been more satisfied. The roni slices were thicker than average, I couldn't even see space between them. It was 3 times normal. The sauce was perfect, not too sweet, no mint which some places use. Simple and pure. As far as the dough goes, there were more air pockets than in Joe Bidens brain. I remember this type of dough from my Greek grandmother when she would sit on the floor and beat the mixture in a stainless 30 qrt bowl as she made everything with flour every Sunday to last the week. Truly amazing. The quaint dimly lit interior with few tables reminds me of my fathers small bakery he had in Boston when we came to the country from Greece in the early 70's. Ill be going back.”

“We recently visited Hyland Orchard for the first time and had a wonderful day! There was something for everyone. We packed a picnic lunch and ate at one of their picnic tables, visited the animals (our kids especially loved the little pony), picked apples, enjoyed some beer, and listened to some great live music. The kids had a blast dancing around in the pavilion. We're always looking for fun new places in the Sturbridge area and this was a great find. We will definitely be back!”

“In this restaurant, I had the most unpleasant experience of my life. Since four months ago, I have been ordering food from this restaurant on Sundays. Today we ordered carry out but decided to eat in when we picked up our food. I was given a fork with an attitude when I asked for one. We were not offered water or a drink menu. Last but not least, when my boyfriend asked for napkins, she threw them at him. Never again will I order food from Empire Village. They need to do a better job hiring people.”
