Heavily overpriced and the grounds decorated for Christmas were less than dismal.
The cost is $45 per person—it is not worth going, even if you have free tickets.
Best living history museum in New England. Well maintained buildings, friendly and knowledgeable staff, nice walking paths, and cool special events.
Take care of regular visitors and especially members before worrying about your seasonal events! If you can focus on these extra-money making activities then would it be too difficult to leave the doors open so year long members could get in and walk around, not bothering anyone or intefering? I remember when it was a treat to visit and just walk the viloage durinmg the holidays and the winter. Too bad.
