My wife and I dine here often for date nights. The service is usually outstanding. The food is always good! However, this time around our service was less than impressive. My wife waited over 45 minutes for her drink. I dropped my chopstick(my fault of course) I had to ask a waiter in another section for replacements. We arrived at 6:30 left at 8:30 and seen our waiter two maybe three times max.

Our experience here was pretty underwhelming tonight. Our server Summer was inattentive and wasn’t very helpful when it came to menu suggestions. The food came out wrong and had to be sent back, and the hot pot tasted like water, even after we had to ask to add sauce. Also there seems to be a fruit fly infestation; flies were constantly buzzing around our food. Will not be back.

came here with high expectations since I’ve been here many times before and enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere… this time was utterly unpleasant. the dining room was infested with fruit flies that were flocking to our food and drinks. we were swatting away CLUSTERS of fruit flies… our server was unenthusiastic and disappeared frequently leaving us with no water/drink refills. had to ask two separate times to finally get my water topped off. the appetizers were fantastic which i have included pictures of! the crab rangoons were delicious and crispy and the mango sauce was to die for, the lion king sushi roll was also delectable. but the hot pot was borderline water… we ordered bone chicken and after waiting almost 35 minutes it had almost no flavor or even color to the broth. very disappointing. used to love this place… might come back in the winter when all the fruit flies die… atmosphere can only be described as dark and sticky..
Omg gross. Sturbridge is a meeting point for my friends and I. We tried to hop around to different restaurants so it doesn't get boring. I'm just seeing the pictures and some reviews online we decide to try this place. I've eaten in many sushi places and I've never had such bad sushi. I will give it to them that their presentation was wonderful but after taking the first bite into something that's supposed to be hot, well it is not. I ordered Three Special Sushi as we always do and there is nothing special about it. Everything tasted a day old. The rice that was raved about has no flavor . But I have to say the reason that made me want to write this review so bad is because of the uncontrollable amount of fruit flies that was hovering over us as we were trying to eat. I think we spent more time swatting them then enjoying our meal. There were food pieces all over the floor and you can tell the place is not thoroughly clean between patrons. The wall that my table was situated against was also very dirty. I question the sanitation of the kitchen. There are some basic standards that are not met here.

Summer was our server and she was literally one of the best I have had all summer!! Even the valet (we didn't use) was fun and personable. baba is a little pricey, but we had a great dinner.
