came here with high expectations since I’ve been here many times before and enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere… this time was utterly unpleasant. the dining room was infested with fruit flies that were flocking to our food and drinks. we were swatting away CLUSTERS of fruit flies… our server was unenthusiastic and disappeared frequently leaving us with no water/drink refills. had to ask two separate times to finally get my water topped off. the appetizers were fantastic...
Summer was our server and she was literally one of the best I have had all summer!! Even the valet (we didn't use) was fun and personable. baba is a little pricey, but we had a great dinner.
Hot pot and sushi was great but service was terrible. Wasn't very busy and server was frantic. Took 5+ minutes for her to greet us. Put all food in at once rather than staggering hot pot then sushi. Not enough room on the table for all of it at once and ended up putting sushi on tray for clearing tables. I think I will stick to Kaizen down the road.
