This is so worth a visit. Our server is great, they have an amazing, tasty menu, both small plates and entrees and great drinks.

We all visited for the first time today for a milestone birthday brunch and were very impressed with the Cedar Street Grill. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Felt like an Inn but not exactly. The staff is super friendly. And the food is amazing. Picture gourmet but with larger portions. What a gem this place is tucked away in Cental Mass. Can’t wait to return!

I cannot believe I didn’t take photos but I can at least leave a wonderful review. Initially I was extra disappointed about my experience because I had put a lot of thought into our pickup order Tapas choices as I’d seen described online.

However when I called unfortunately it was Monday and they only had a “limited selection” 😔( which was the norm for their regular Monday)
I had already heard how fantastic the food was and therefore I stayed the course 😂.. punny right?

I ordered from the limited menu choices that they provided over the phone &
in the end we ordered the mushroom soup , the fried goat cheese and the pork and ham brioche sandwich. Wow!
💯 percent grateful & impressed and Including the price tag for such well crafted food!
Thank you.🤌🤌🤌🤌
I can’t wait to eat in and try my initial picks .
I noticed how absolutely beautiful both the tavern and restaurant were when I went inside to pick up our food. Service was truly kind.
The phone person pulled me out of my disappointment and didn’t lead me astray.
The food was decadent!
In addition I saw the quality of the live music 🎶 schedule posted as I left the restaurant. Wins around every corner!

The fish and chips was amazing!! It was a peice of sword fish and a mound of fries. Our waitress was very friendly checked on us and was friendly. This was our first time there she was amazing at answering questions and giving feed back on items. We will deffitnally come back!

Our third time this year. Plain country interior belies sophisticated seasonal menu beautifully realized. Today for me was pork cheeks braised in a sauce reduced and intense to the maximum, with sides of a cauliflower-celeriac puree like silk and lovely roast beets. My husband had terrific lamb loin with a nice root vegetable hash and sautéed Brussels sprouts. This chef would not be out of place in Boston or New York, meant in the nicest way. Several interesting cocktails were appreciated.

Nice little place usually. That said, I called to place a take out order and was told that they couldn’t be bothered. Seems they were fully booked and therefore can’t do take out.
Maybe I’m missing something. I was about to order the same amount of food I would if I were dinning in, except I wasn’t going to take up a table. That means the place would get the same amount of money without the over head of me sitting there chugging free water and taking up space.
What I’m saying is call ahead to find out if they’re serving food that night.

Love the staff. Front of house is over the top professional, warm and welcoming. We ate there tonight. I really like their normal menu. Alway some surprises, but always tasty. This evening they did prixe fixe menu for 50s throwback night. I had lamb wellington very good. Tried my wife's wedge salad with bacon lardon and ranch dressing as per the menu... ... This was not ranch dressing as I knew it. I was blown away by this humble salad. Then I tried tried the lardon cooked to perfection with it. Slightly crispy and smokey with the fat to offset the acid in the buttermilk and the whole thing propelled by the chef's herbs. This was the best thing I've had in a restaurant in a long time. To the chef, Karen,?, your pallette is very refined. Kudos to you chef. It's exiciting when the front and the back of the house are aligned in this special way.

I love everything about this place. Amazing food, great service, but not always easy to get a table. You should always make reservations ahead of time or you may not get a table.

I find this menu to be just too strange for my tastes. No, it doesn’t have to be a meat and potatoes menu, but I do not believe it caters to the average person at all. I am a skilled cook in my own home and have made many creative dishes that are quite tasty. None of these selections or anything I would have even thought of. I would like to see a few selections that include pasta dishes, Italian, Asian, another popular items, seafood, too. The only reason I came here was it’s location where my relatives from Connecticut would have a short trip to a mutually distant destination.
