I ordered the fried dumpling and wonton soup to go. I had a cocktail while I waited and very engage in conversation with the bartender and patrons. When I got home and ate my food, which was excellent, very authentic very well prepared.

Back to 1990s Atmosphere in this place. Food was terrible and fatty. Waiter was rude. Didn't come back to ask for a drink refill either. The cola and water tasted terrible as well. I'd never go back here again....

Unfortunately probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Fried rice was terrible. Eggdrop soup was just whisked egg. Good egg rolls though… Sorry yall need to fix your recipes :(

China was our server. She was nice and pleasant.
The food... well.... we haven't been in about 7 years and probably won't for another 7 if ever... The pupu Platter was good. Everything was fresh. All our main dishes except one noodle dish ( we ordered lunch menu value) they were all in a thick brown sauce ( we cook a lot w oyster, soy, ponzu, and fish sauces) but never get thar thick bland and dark... must be the sauce they coat all the dishes in. 👎
But pork fried rice was gross. Had very very odd( not in a good way) flavor.. like was burnt eggs and old iron metal grill top that cooked it... also was soooo sooo dark. It was terrible. Like super old and reheated? Idk but yuck....
The one noodle dish w rice noodle was actually very light and tasty and not dark at all. Was the best dish of all..

the food has gotten more consistent than I can remember these last couple years, & its always been good, I've been eating here since I was little in the mid 80's! The last few years I've been eating once a week at least sometimes twice' especially before going to Florida which has NO even decent Chinese restaurants!! Point is food has been really great & Its looking like its going to stay that way.

Kahula restaurant has been consistently delivering stellar Chinese food since I was born. I grew up eating there and loved it every single time. It’s such a treat. I can’t imagine how there could be mediocre ratings. It’s always been amazing. Thank you, kahula.
