It was my lucky day! Traveling from Florida and picked this place from the map as I just wanted some soup for lunch, and it was a win!!! Quirky and cute inside the flea market building, 41 years in business! Corn chowder and fresh bread, absolutely delicious!!!

The owner John has been running this adorable hidden gem for 40 years. You feel like you are in a secret garden with the ambiance. The food is very basic (soups and sandwiches) but done perfectly. His soups are so delicious. The JFK memorabilia is a must see for Kennedy fans.

I was there today, brought my aunt to try it and see because I've been there before. She saw it and found it cute, they were almost empty, so we went in. As soon as we went in, we were stopped, the older gentleman didn't let us sit, he told us to look at the menu and that it was at least a 10 minutes wait. I was telling my aunt in Spanish and he told me to be quiet that he need it silence. Because I was with my aunt, told her in Spanish, "vamonos pal carajo de aqui" , and left. So my experience with your treatment with different ethnic groups was not the best for us.

The owner is the nicest guy, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and homey.Simple but GREAT food. The mushroom soup was spectacular.
