Coming from the Midwest, I am used to good steak restaurant chains, but today I found my favorite in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The restaurant offers a very casual vibe divided between lounge and restaurant, but the food is among the best qualities that so far I have encountered with the big chains in the Midwest. The Porterhouse restaurant is a great place for a great meal. Service was very friendly , hospitable and attentive. The food was cooked to perfection. However , a top shelf restaurant also comes with a top shelf price. Before making the trip , Review the menue. This is not a McDonalds

My wife and I find ourselves in the Sturbridge area a few times a year and we always stop here to eat. The food is always amazing as is the service.

Today we stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner with our young children. I ordered the bone-in ribeye and my wife and kids had various appetizers, small plates, and dessert.
