Nice atmosphere, great chef, amazing food. So tasty I forgot to take pictures of anything. First time I have been here in over 10 years. I will definitely not let 10 years go by before I come again.

Manager was really weird we were waiting to be served for over an hour. She refused to provide any compensation and gave us dirty looks the whole time. Overall not a good experience considering the money we spent also the menu is very confusing. i would not recommend and a side of fried rice is not included in hibachi and costs 11$ to add per person.

This place use to be great. The last 3 times ive been here. Its been horrible. Sadly this is a busy place. But our whole group was less than impressed. The chief made good food. But it was average at best. We came for the show. Definitely no show. Except for the onion. The waitress. OMG. No personality. Brought 3 warm beers. The first 2 had limes. The other were forgotten. My girl ordered a 2nd beer. And the waitress forgot about it. For at least 20 minutes. I reminded the waitress she had forgotten. So she goes and gets a beer. The wrong one. My girl was eating for at least 30 minutes by this time with no drink. She completely forgot about the wines and said for the table. We got those at the very end. In the hr and a half we were there. we saw her 6 to 8 times. And we were her only table. 2 people ordered the ice cream. She tells you it use to be free. But now its $4. Its $4 for one small scoop. This place has gone downhill. The rug looks absolutely horrible. The heating units are falling apart off of the walls. I wouldn't recommend. Ive been to the hibachi place in Northampton with in the last year. That was definitely more fun.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was due to the women's bathroom did not smell very good. Almost like a sewer issue. It was not pleasant to go back to your table to eat afterwards. Also, the exhaust fan at our table did not seem to be working correctly. All the steam/smoke from cooking was going in our face and our eye glasses had grease spatter on them. The table was also covered in grease spatter. Due to this we couldn't see what the cook was doing and that was the whole part of the experience besides the delcious food. This was the first time the exhaust issue happened and we have been their multiple times. Normally it is a 5 star experience for hibachi.
First time going here with my family to celebrate my birthday, and from the start the waitress was rude did not know how to interact with customers, I placed the order for the whole group and she made it seem like i had placed the order wrong but is because she was not familiar with the menu, we had to dumb it down for her as she stood there with a smirk on her face as if we did not know what we were talking about. We tipped her because we are not bad ppl and the hibachi Chef was wonderful he did so good and food was perfectly cooked. The order does come with fried rice it comes with steamed rice fried rice is an upcharge of 11$ per combo and is a very tiny portion. Overall good experience would've been better to have someone who is more trained and professional with the customers.

Me and my Wife have been coming here for years. We made reservations for Valentines day and when we arrived I have never seen the place so busy. Our chef was very kind, engaging and worked great with the kids at the table who had a birthday. He was clearly tired, stressed out and doing his best. He is probably the eldest Chef in the establishment and was the last guy working as we left. Even though we had some issues with the food, I wish I could give him a hug and thank him.
I've always loved coming here and would recommend going here to anyone.

Just fantastic. Great drinks. Food is just lights out. Sushi and sashimi and steak and fried ice cream. Excellence all that way. We had several courses, sushi and chicken tenders to start, then bigger entrees of sashimi and hibachi from the dinner menu. We did not do the live cooking experience but it looked fun. I just don’t do the catch food in my mouth thing. It’s cool, tho. You guys can all do it. So go to this place, it’s great and it’s super delicious.

The dragon roll was really good, super flavorful and perfectly balanced with a nice crunch from the shrimp tempura. The chicken karaage was crispy, juicy, and not greasy at all. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and the price was AMAZING for the quality. I’d definitely order both again!!
Almost 5 stars so close. manny was an awesome hibachi chef and a pleasure to meet. We caught em at closing so maybe next time will swing my rating to 5

Slow took 30 minutes to get a soda refill noodles are thin and dry no flavor $4 for a little kids chocolate milk is a ripoff . I’d rather go to the one in the Holyoke mall or a express hibachi like the one in chicopee that beats this one by a lot don’t come here took 40 minutes just to start cooking in front of you.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for both family dining and special occasions. Goten of Japan truly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!
