Andrea's has quickly become a favorite for ultra casual, neighborhood dining. The food is fresh and delicious. It's BYOB! The menu is large enough for everyone to find a favorite. Mine is the chicken enchiladas verde, black beans and rice. So good!

I ordered a side of chips & queso for $7 and got ripped off on the queso. I was able to eat 5 chips dipped in it before it was gone and I don’t slather it on like some people do. My meal came w a side of refried beans so I ordered a side of red beans but they gave me more refried beans instead. I don’t understand why it’s difficult to give customers what they order and pay for. I should’ve checked the bag but I honestly shouldn’t have to. For my meal I got the steak enchiladas in red sauce which were disappointing as they were extremely dry with very little sauce and severely lacking in flavor. The rice was very generic and not something I would describe as “aunthentic” at all. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but the spoonful of $7 queso needs to be called out so the owner is aware and can fix the issue with whoever put the order together and thought it was acceptable. I paid $30 and left a small tip but it was realistically a $15-$18 meal

The best customer service I was just there and a guy wanted free food and when they ask for the order number he gave a fake one. Is funny how people try to get free stuff and harm others because they don’t get what they want in life. Love the place the season of the food is great and I’m Dominican I know what I’m talking about. Highly recommend this place

I’ve done takeout from Andrea more than 20 times and every time I wish I could eat more. The green enchiladas with steak are so tasty, and I love the burritos and fajitas. Make sure to try the hot sauce!
These guys are awesome they have 2 other spots and never disappoint. I’ve tried everything on the menu and everything is good. True gem. If you live in swampscott give it a try.

This place has subpar half decent Mexican food that was not that flavor full. Extremely overpriced I paid around $20 for 3 small tacos, beans and rice and a drink. The food was made authentic but it was clearly old tasting and very dry. The beans had a very weird not pleasant taste also. There is never anybody in this establishment so I should have known ,but I wanted to give it a shot. The service was OK mainly sub par. The girl working there was nice but she seemed bored and it took a while to make our food about 20 minutes. I and most people only have about 30 minutes for lunch.She stated that they were very busy always but there is never anybody in there and never a car parked out front. It is sad that I get a cheaper price and fresher food at a chain like Taco Bell. I definitely do not recommend this place to anybody who is craving Mexican you will still be craving Mexican food after you eat here. There is also a good place called Mexicali in Swampscott in the plaza that is pretty good and clearly a lot better than this place. There is also a decent Mexican food place that is a lot better in Marblehead in the plaza on the second floor. I do not recommend this place to any Mexican food gurus. They are located in Swampscott and they think everyone is rich here clearly lol.
