We had the spicy tuna tower appetizer, then each of us got a fillet mignon entrée (medium rare!), With mashed potatoes and creamed spinach - everything was simply magnificent! I can be quite the picky foodie, and I wouldn't have changed a single thing! We also had ginger, beer, martinis, which were delicious! As was the crème brûlée! And the wine list was very nice. I downgraded the ambience solely because of the busyness and noise level, but that's to be expected in a restaurant with such quality and popularity! The meal wasn't “a bargain“, but it was certainly worth every penny we paid! I would go back again in a heartbeat!

We came on a Tuesday night so it was pretty quiet. Our server Ariana was very nice and everyone in our group of 4 LOVED their food. We got dumplings as an app, entrees were lamb, haddock, and the pappardelle pasta. We definitely want to come back and also try Little G's!

Went here to try it out since we seen reviews and photo how good the food looked. we didn't make a reservation but we were seated outside which is fine I didn't mind it since inside was a lot of people. I wanted the rack of lamb which I seen on the photo and last year menu , but today it wasn't on the menu so I got the T bone Lamb had it cooked Medium Rare, warm Red center. It came out warm and over cooked to medium well. NOT A RED CENTER , it was to the point where theres no pink at all and had too much salt. The customer next to me ordered the same thing and their lamb came out perfect and steaming! The way I wanted my lamb to be! I was so disappointed 😞 I was starving so I did ate it. Spent too much money on it for it to go to waste. The only good thing I had here was my cocktail that's why I rated a 2 stars.

We had an incredible experience at G's Bar and Grill last night! From the start, the spicy tuna tower was absolutely to die for! Our entrees, the chicken milanese and papardelle, were hands-down the best we've ever had. Dessert was a highlight too - the lemon bread pudding was fantastic. And the espresso martinis were a perfect way to cap off the night.
But what really made our evening special was the warm hospitality from the owners. They took the time to come out, introduce themselves, and thank us for coming. It's clear they care about their customers and take pride in their restaurant.
We're already looking forward to our next visit to try more of their delicious menu items. Highly recommend G's Bar and Grill you won’t be disappointed

Food was delicious - crispy Shrimp appetizer, Dayboat special Salmon, Lamb special... excellent drink menu too! Service great and not rushed, even though busy on a Friday night! We really enjoyed a nice evening with friends for a birthday celebration!
Anyone living in or visiting Swampscott would be quite delighted to eat at the exceptional G Bar Restaurant! Located quite close to Fisherman’s Beach, G Bar is lovely and formal without being fussy! Tables are laid out in a civilized manner! We did not have a reservation and the hostess was kind and accommodating! Marla, our server, was sweet and efficient! The food is marvelous! I loved my Chicken Milanese! My brother was super happy with the scallop special! My Mom had a fab looking Burrata scampi! We shared the warm berry bread pudding with Schlage! So delicious! Parking is not particularly easy but there are spaces. The restaurant had a lively bar! We will absolutely be back! A new fave in Swampscott!

G Bar is our go to place where we know we will always get a fantastic meal and drink. Greg is an amazing Chef. And has a great staff to follow through on everything. You can't go wrong going there. It is always fantastic. Greg is also very hospitable. Love this place

We were thrilled to have a window seat in this charming little restaurant! The food was excellent. We had the dumplings and delicious arancini as appetizers. We selected the scallop special, which could not have been more perfect. Our other entree was the lamb - beautifully cooked with scalloped blue cheese potatoes and bordelaise sauce. Cocktails were just the way we like them. Service was friendly. The rich chocolate souffle made for a perfect ending to our birthday dinner!
