Professional and courteous staff; we have never seen bad service here. Staff is always excellent with kids as well.

Food is always great along with the beverages.

Also a great business that helps the community and any non-profit working to raise money.

100% recommend visiting Little G if in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Little G is our favorite spot in the North Shore! We're there at least once a week and it always feels like a warm hug <3 The staff treat each other like family, and in turn treat their customers the same.
Chef Gregg, the staff -- Arley, Lauren, Maria, Franny, Lindsey (and more!)-- are all absolutely phenomenal. If I could give it 1000/5 stars, I would.
And that doesn't even include the food! Everything there is done from scratch -- and if you're a Ranch lover, its top notch. My husband literally asks for extra in our to-go boxes. We've gotten nearly everything off the menu and have never once had anything less than an excellent meal in an excellent atmosphere. They're always trying and testing something new, ever evolving -- yet keeping the classics (if you haven't tried their nachos -- you're missing out!). We sometimes even order the pizza as gluten free (even though we're not GF sensitive), because its just that good!
I had my Bridal Shower next door at their sister & original restaurant, G Bar, and my entire family and friends were so impressed! The people, the food, the vibe -- fantastic.
Swampscott is a small town with a lot of love, and you can feel exactly that when you enter Little G / G Bar.
Whether you're headed there solo, or with your significant other, or more family/friends -- Little G is the spot to go for a great night and great conversation <3
There's no better spot.

Two weeks ago, my wife and I stopped at Little G Market Bar Eatery for dinner and a glass of wine. Having been to the G Bar and Kitchen, we expected a similar experience of good food and wine on the lighter side. It turned out to be nothing but—a hastily put-together variation of airport nachos with sprayed-on substance and a gluten-free 1/4” sole that was meant to pass for a pizza arranged at the table with “Enjoy!”

Everything was chewy and unfresh. Service was rushed, and we were asked 4-5 times whether we’d like things wrapped to go. All this, while we tried desperately to have a conversation and finish our wine in the very loud, badly sound-insulated room.

There was a lot of wait staff buzzing around in an annoyingly rushed, random manner. Every one of them stopped by to ask to wrap up our food, one after the other!

Finally, we had enough and voiced our displeasure. The third person who came to ask what was wrong, repeated the well-rehearsed phrase, yet again: “Would you like this to go?” When the manager came, she apologized explaining that the staff was mostly trainees. I observed that this was not a fast food joint and we shouldn’t be timed once we stop chewing. Also, if this were the way the new staff is being trained, it was clear where the problem was. The incompetence and the impersonal, go-by-the-manual treatment were insulting to any kind of intelligence.

We paid and left, never to come back again.

Came with our pup. Just so you know, they don’t allow dogs on their patio. So, we were asked to leave.
Unfortunately, I have nothing else to aid with my review.

Earlier this month, we dined at Little G Market * Bar * Eatery, and unfortunately, it was a stark contrast to our experiences at G Bar & Kitchen. The atmosphere was quite noisy, which detracted from our enjoyment, and the service left much to be desired.

The food was mediocre at best, with limited healthy options that felt more fitting for a college bar than a dining establishment in a quaint town. To top it off, the staff seemed rushed, making it clear they wanted to turn tables quickly rather than create a welcoming experience for their guests.

Swampscott is a charming small town, and it deserves better dining options. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that I hope improves in the future.

Delicious! We ordered take-out after 15 hours on the road. Burgers were cooked perfectly. Chicken sandwich, insane! Potato skin pizza and wings-wow! E ery bite was high quality and as ordered. The server hooked us up with condiments, and was so kind. It's really worth the troip!

Stopped in at Lttle G last night for a delightful dinner! Fun space, fun menu, and fun crowd! I felt like I was in Manhattan or Cambridge! Very lively atmosphere! Had fantastic grilled lamb with fries and Greek Salad! Quite delicious! Although the place was quite busy, the staff were very attentive and professional! My friend had grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus! The salmon was as fresh and delicious as any I have ever had and I live in Rockport! The mashed potatoes were as good as I have ever had! I was a little jealous! Parking is not particularly easy, but achievable! We had homemade chocolate chip cookie ? with gelato! Excellent!

Little G is good, but I can’t say it’s great. Atmosphere is very fun as is the setting. The outdoor seats are really, really nice. However, the food for me and my wife is mediocre. There are very few healthy options. I like to order the scampi pizza, which states the following ingredients: shrimp, toasted, garlic, lemon, Romano, arugula. The arugula comes bathed in an excess of salad dressing. arugula on a pizza by itself is delicious and why this needs to have salad dressing is beyond me. At minimum, it should state this on the menu so that I could ask them to not put it on. Other dishes felt like they were prepared in advance. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich with no bacon and could still taste the bacon on the chicken even though it was not there. The fries while admittedly delicious had a lot of little pieces that looked like they’ve been sitting around for a while and been refried. I’m sure that most of the food tastes really good because there’s a lot of cheese and a lot of meat but overall little G disappoints every time we go.

This is a great place for families to gather, or to just hang out with friends. It has a great vibe and the staff are very attentive. My husband and I have had almost everything on the menu and it's all delicious. The food is consistently fantastic. Drinks are excellent too. This is our "go to" spot when we want to unwind. Try the meatballs and chicken parm egg rolls! Oh yeah, and the watermelon cocktail too. ? Keep up the good work G! You're place is one of the best around.!

Place is cute but very loud. Food is good but expensive. I ordered a steak medium rare and it was undercooked - VERY rare. No big deal, I asked for it to be brought back and cooked a little more. It came back medium well if not well done. Seems like the chef was annoyed I sent it back. I couldn’t even eat it. $38 for a steak not cooked to my liking. I likely won’t be back
