I am writing this review as I wait in the restaurant for my online order with much frustration. My family and I order here about 2-3 times a month and love the food. However the staff making mistakes is very consistent with missing items from the order. Shame on me for not checking the bag until I arrive home. This time I decided to open the stapled bag and check to realize they missed two entrees out of 4 total. If it’s not an entree, the order is missing a side, missed substitution, or something. I would still like to continue coming here since the food is good but there comes a point when I can no longer trust ordering from here. It would be different if I dined here where I can just ask the server if we hadn’t received something. I guess this is a message to the manager to speak to the staff to be more attentive. It’s very frustrating to get home hungry and have your food missing. I live in town but not close enough to say “it’s ok. I’ll be right there.” Other than this, this food is good and the ambience is great. I’d recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for Mexican and thinking about eating here. (There is also another establishment but significantly smaller and more mom & pop-ish that is very good and more authentic in town.) Family favorites are the burritos and enchiladas.Final complaint: The staff member just handed me the missing food and the original bag (after waiting 15 mins) with no apology.

Love this place, both times I’ve dined here I have had an amazing experience! Their margaritas are delicious, not to mention strong. Service wonderful and staff very friendly. The chicken mole enchiladas are my favorite. Can’t wait to come back!

The place has excellent decor and a good staff. The tortilla chips, beans, and rice were nice, but the main dishes fell short. We were served huge chunks of onions and peppers in our guacamole, stale and bland tacos, and the driest kids cheese burger ever. Maybe we went on an off day.

just made an impromptu stop here for dinner with my wife and its a quiet wednesday morning. that said the service and food here are out of the park. I got a steak fajitas and i loved everything about it. my wife got the ground beef chimichanga and she also really liked it!.

I have been going to Mexicali for several months now frequenting the bar for a few drinks, yesterday I went and ordered margaritas for my wife and I and both were incredibly sour, it tasted almost like pure lime juice and neither of us was able finish our drinks. I find that, unfortunately, there's no consistency across their bar staff and how the drinks are made.
First time ordered bad experience, I ordered for me the combo enchiladas supposed to come with one of each mole salsa verde and salsa roja and they send me all three salsa roja. For my husband he ordered pollo with mole it was no mole no salad and beans bad bad service I give 0 service, I called ask to talked to the manager and the guy said there is no one to take care of the complain he put me in old to see if the kitchen was a problem then he hang up on me without say nothing.

Ordered takeout. I waited inside for the order. Took over 40 minutes to prepare and when I got it home the food was cold and basically inedible. Very disappointed because we’ve had better from there in the past.
