This was a hidden gem for us being on island in late October when most other trendy places had limited dining hours. The ambiance and staff were first rate, menu offerings adventurous and well prepared. This is Vineyard Haven so parking may result in a walk but whats better than some exercise after fine dining? Use a GPS enabled map to help locate, it’s easy to walk past it.

Dinner was so good I forgot to get a before photo. Came in straight from the ferry and a long day of traveling and this was the perfect spot to stop. The filet was amazing and service at the bar was great even though the bartender was busy and it was pretty full. Will definitely stop back by with my family and get a table before my visit is over!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had on the Vineyard. Steak was cooked to perfection, came out fast, and paired perfectly with The Prisoner — a great wine recommendation from our server Joelle, who was friendly, attentive, and had an amazing personality. Manager Zoey checked in personally, which made it feel even more special. You can tell they really focus on the details. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend!

I brought my family to Martha's Vineyard to celebrate a big deal that skyrocketed my career. We got a beautiful home, hired a private driver for the week, and the island so far has been amazing. I haven't been to MV since I was a kid and it felt amazing to do this for my family. The only misstep this week was walking into 9 Craft Kitchen. The staff was actually great, it was the manager who was low brow and has an offputting approach to her job. It is pretty tacky and bizarre to refuse business in an empty restaurant 😅 My grandmother always said that attitude determines your altitude. And this is a perfect example. The manager is exactly where she belongs. An off the beaten path hotel restaurant that no one outside of this street has ever heard of.
If you want an upscale and civilized experience, try Bettini in Edgartown.

Amazing experience from start to finish. The baked oysters were delicious, the salmon perfectly cooked, and the crème brûlée outstanding. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the manager made sure everything was perfect. Truly flawless, highly recommend!

Nasty policies about seating. Unpleasant attitude. The place was entirely empty at 5pm. Yet they refused to seat us until the whole party was there. I will not go back regardless of food. They don’t deserve your patronage. The ocean bub down the block is much nicer. I doubt this place will be storing for long!

What a great place for a dinner date! A romantic restaurant that has ambiance and great waitstaff. The food was exceptional as were the drinks! The waiter was very professional and knowledgeable on the specials. You have to try the lobster risotto! That's all I can say!

The waitress was unclear from the start about needing to order starters and entrees at the same time. Allegedly the chefs preference. In my opinion they want to have you commit for the full meal and deliver sub par food. They did not have any hot beverages. It was absolutely freezing inside with the ac blasting on a cool day. I requested tea and then asked if i could just have hot water with lemon. Kind of ridiculous that a pot of water cant be boiled. The oysters were the highlight. Mussels puttanesca was salty. The salad could have been done better at home.

One of the best meals I've had this year. Everything we ate felt very carefully considered, with layers and pops of flavor to be discovered. Starters as good as the mains which is rare. We had the corn+cheddar fritters with an addictive sweet and spicy sauce and the filet mignon deviled eggs, both very tasty. I had the striped bass special, perfectly cooked with roasted red pepper sauce, spinach, mushrooms, gnocchi, delicious! My friends had steak dishes, lamb and a pasta dish all of them were equally as impressed. Drinks were great, spicy watermelon margarita was my favorite, tiki fire a close second if you like sweet. Food and drink service were well timed and came out quickly. Server was very attentive, friendly and discreet. Noise level for our 6:45 weekday reservation was low, easy to have a conversation. Keep up the great work!

Probably the best meal I had on my trip to MV. I had a pasta dish and it was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Wine menu was great as well, but there’s not many options for just a glass. I sat at the bar and the service was decent, but nothing to write home about. I’d expect better service for a restaurant at this price, but it seems to be on par with the service everywhere on the island. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely come back!
