“Soooo good! Everything was amazing! The decor was light and airy. Loved the modern Italian cozy cafe feeling. The food was delicious. I was so excited to try I forgot to take pictures. Highly recommend the lox pasta dish "Lumache," it was pure perfection. The desserts were to die for and plated so nicely even in takeout containers. I loved the extra special touch of the purple flower in each dessert. They have a small retail selection of local and pasta themed products. They will also offer homemade pasta to cook at home. I can't wait to try their lunch menu and everything else on the dinner menu”

“As a team, we love hitting Aquila at the Y after workouts. The espresso drinks are consistently excellent: smooth and balance! and when we need something more substantial, the chocolate protein shake is our go-to: cold, rich, and genuinely satisfying without feeling heavy. Service is quick and friendly, the space is bright and clean, and it’s easy to grab-and-go between meetings.

“First time that I dined there was this past weekend and I wasn’t disappointed. Service A+, atmosphere A+, meal……A++. My wife and I brought friends from out of town to Salvatore’s for dinner. Wow! On level with some of the best Italian restaurants we’ve ever been to. Outside “Garden” dinning was a pleasant surprise. Our server was very attentive but not too intrusive. The Classic Cocktails were on point. Pasta was definitely made in house and among the finest I’ve ever tasted. I enjoyed a “special” with mounds of fresh seafood over pasta. It’s worth a trip to this gem in VH no matter where you travel from. You won’t be disappointed.”

“We were there for dinner visiting family and had Jon as our bartender! He was friendly, attentive, and really knows how to make a great drink. He made me the best margarita I’ve ever had—perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious! 🍹Great service, great personality, and an overall wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a bartender who knows what he’s doing and makes you feel taken care of, definitely ask for Jonathan! Highly recommend! 🙌”

“I’ve visited The Ocean Club twice this season, both times without a reservation, and have always found a welcoming seat at the bar. A highlight of each visit has been Alex, the bartender, whose professionalism, extensive beverage knowledge, and thoughtful recommendations make the experience truly memorable. His service is classic and polished, and the bar itself is beautiful, immaculate, and well curated.

The oysters have been excellent—Rockefeller on my first visit and beautifully fresh from the raw bar on my most recent one. While the main courses were well prepared, they were not the strongest part of our experience.

Service throughout is exceptional, from management to the servers and bar team. The atmosphere is elegant yet inviting—ideal for a date, family dinner, or quiet conversation. The menu rotates regularly, so online versions may differ, but there are appealing options for a variety of tastes.”

“never again!! got served raw food, horrible service. manager was just as bad as the server. man did this place go downhill fast. I have been coming here since the eighties. I didn't even buy a tee-shirt. so overpriced. what used to be a nice little restaurant, has now become a tourist trap. so the tourist can have it. this place will not get anymore of my money. Disappointed and Done”

“My favorite childhood ice cream has now become my kids' favorite childhood ice cream! ❤️ We highly recommend the Reese's Cream, Oreo Cream, Chocolate, and the Chilmark Coffee.... all at once if you dare lol! Summer staff are all so sweet and friendly as well 😊”

“Although this site is no longer Bernie’s ice cream, it is still the same ice cream as it was before. It is the best ice cream on the island, although it does not have a ton of novel flavors.”
