“We were getting a bit tired of lobster rolls 🦞and wanted something spicy with beef, so we picked up takeout from here and ate it on our porch looking over the ocean. 🌊The food was absolutely amazing!🤩

“never again!! got served raw food, horrible service. manager was just as bad as the server. man did this place go downhill fast. I have been coming here since the eighties. I didn't even buy a tee-shirt. so overpriced. what used to be a nice little restaurant, has now become a tourist trap. so the tourist can have it. this place will not get anymore of my money. Pretty flat welcome (verging on rude) from a blonde hostess with black glasses. It was interesting watching how friendly she was to others she brought to their tables after our frosty welcome. After this everything improved. The other servers were lovely, and the food excellent quality. The chicken is the best I’ve had in years.
We had a similarly disappointing experience with the same woman when we were leaving. She literally turned her head away from us.
Then we heard he shout a warm goodbye to someone leaving immediately behind us.
Not sure what we did to annoy this stranger, but it did take the edge off the experience. Disappointing!“

“I was in the area for work & stopped in not once but twice! Both times stopping in I decided to try something new. The coffee was great. The second time they were roasting the beans on site. Staff is friendly, moose pie, americano, and white mocha is great.“

“The pros: decent burger at a decent price. I love the rolls they use. Burgers are what you want to get here, don't get distracted by the chicken wings or seafood0 it's not their Forte. If you want a side, the fries are OK but they are too pricey for me and the portions are small, I enjoy their Mac & cheese with burger in it, it'll make your eyes roll back in your head with each bite! Props on handling the crowds of people and getting the food out relatively fast, it's not easy. I also appreciate their late night hours. The cons: They won't put any burger dressings (lettuce, tomato, mayo, onion, etc.) on the side, so if you order to go, by the time you get home, the bottom half of the bun is a wet, inedible paste. Also, there's nothing to put ketchup in. No soufflé cups, no packets, so if you order fries, you have to squirt ketchup in the container the fries are in and they get - can u guess? Are you sensing a theme here? - yes, they get soggy. Maybe spend less money on the fancy to go bags and get a sleeve of 2 oz souflee cups, or gather nip bottles, anything!“
“Vineyard Scoops on Main Street in Edgartown is hands down the best ice cream shop on Martha's Vineyard. The soft serve here is incredible, honestly the best you'll ever have.
My top recommendation is the Chilmark Coffee soft serve, made with locally roasted Chilmark Coffee beans. If you're a coffee lover, you definitely need to get it. It's rich, smooth, and full of real coffee flavor.
A friend (thanks Leah!) put me on to swirling it with the black sesame soft serve, and it's very good. The nutty, toasty black sesame pairs perfectly with the coffee, and it's a combination you won't find anywhere else.
Whether you're strolling Main Street on a summer evening or just need a sweet treat, Vineyard Scoops is a must. Don't leave the Island without stopping in!“

“I’d like to comment on the impeccable guest service. Linda went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied. It really seemed like a high priority! Hurley (our server) was very attentive and accommodating. We had an overall great experience! The food was out of this world. I had the steak and it was delicious and my partner had the short rib and it was so tender. Amazing meal! Desserts left nothing to be desired. They were just as on point as our meals.“

“My favorite spot for sandwiches and pastries on the island! I’ve been coming here for years, and both the service and food have been consistently excellent. The portions are generous, so I usually have leftovers for a second meal. The last thing I had was a linguiça sandwich with plantains — it was so good that I finally went out of my way to write a review :) They’re also very accommodating toward gluten sensitivity.“

“Popular bagel spot that offers a wide selection of bagels, spreads, sandwiches, muffins, coffee, etc. The prep staff of three seemed to be overwhelmed, and customers were waiting 10-15 minutes for their orders.
