I tried almost every highly recommended chowder on the island, and this one was by far my favorite. I loved it so much I came back on the last day of my trip to get it one more time. I like my chowders on the thicker side, and this is one of the only ones I found that serve it that way. The broth is super flavorful and the clams are tender and abundant. I also had a whole order of their mussels all to myself and they were delicious.
The portion sizes are tremendous, the wine is delicious, the service was SUPERB!Alice (I believe that was her name - she had beautiful purple hair if that rings a bell) was our server. She was timely and kind.Our portions were huge! We had leftovers with takeout boxes. Without even asking, a gentleman opened up a to-go bag as we were about to leave the door so we could carry the to-go boxes all together. I was so surprised by this service!
